SHINee the "Princes of K-Pop" will always have my heart, so glad they still active and going strong. f(x) is my ult girl group, their albums are gold. HyunA opened the doors for me. Truly the Golden Era of K-Pop, so many legendary acts, kinda sad most of them are gone

2nd Gen have many style of music : RNB, Retro pop, electro, rock pop,.... Today, they follow the "same felling" of music that sell billions....but sometime I find some good music on B-Side

All the feels from this list! SNSD, Big Bang, 2NE1, Super Junior (Sr), SHINee, After School, Brown Eyed Girls, Sistar, T-Ara, 4 Minute, Wonder Girls, Beast (ba2st), were the ones who made a certain set of synths and frequency ranges a popular sound. I feel like we started to discover sub 300hz ranges with gen 3 - or maybe just our expectations with audio fidelity improved over time. I think I would put Girls’ Day songs in gen 3 however.

2nd gen is when I first started listening to Kpop! Definitely had a different vibe back then! For one, they didn't feel the need to throw a hip hop verse into every song.

Fun to see some older K-pop songs! It is crazy to think Wonder Girls are K-pop. I listened to that song so much when I was younger and did not realize it was K-pop and I was starting to become a K-pop lover! 😱 Love a lot of these other songs like Girl’s Generation, KARA, Shinee! The 5-member TVXQ was the first Kpop boy band I stanned. I was heartbroken when Jaejoong, Junsu and Yoochun left. So glad to see a song from those days besides Mirotic get some love.

aigoo~ nostalgia~~~ :3 I got to know about Halluy Wave late. Because my first K-pop song was "Gee" from SNSD, and, that is the starting for the girl's generation. On the opposite, my impression is still strong when I see the cut about DBSK - "mirotic". (I know the event about changing the name of that SM boy group, but to me, I still prefer the old name DBSK.) Since then, I have fallen in love with Hallyu, falling in love with 3 big giant entertainment for their idol groups at the 2nd generation. Thanks to the KBS world channel, I got to know more outside the stage., know more idols, both in group-sub-unit, and solo-ish. And sometimes, with the Mnet countdown, I get to know more idols from other entertainment companies. -> About MBLAQ and SS501... they faded fast... I still do not see 2AM. I know 2AM specialist is about ballad but should we count 2AM as the 2nd generation too??? thank you for doing the video. I wait for the second part. Fighting!
