David Corenswet has always said that playing Superman is his "Absolute pie in the sky dream." I'm so happy for him, he's such a kind and sweet person in every interview I've seen of him, and it feels like I'm watching a good friend live his ultimate dream, even though I've never met him.

Now i need to see Nathan Fillion with the Bowl Cut.

As someone who HATES the neckpiece and hated how it looked in the original photo, I'm beyond gald that it's toned down and more of a V-shape. The costume looks great, although I do wish it was skin tight.

At first I wasn't digging the new suit but after seeing how bright and close to Christopher Reeves bright suit and the yellow symbol on the back of the cape I'm totally on board!!!!

I really like the color palette. And I like how his suit resembles what people wear when racing sport motorcycles. The red shorts are probably loose because he’s packing serious heat and needs the extra room.😂 As for Lois Lane, she looks freaking fantastic!!😃 FINALLY, a Lois Lane that looks like Lois Lane! Love her in the purple.

I’m not calling him Superman until I see his performance and the writing for the character. Putting on the costume and looking the part doesn’t make him Superman. The true successor to Christopher Reeve was Tom Welling. People need to stop skipping him and saying Corenswet is the new Reeve

I am absolutely loving these onset photo of Wendell Pierce as Perry White, Rachel as Lois Lane and David as Superman. David looks magnificent as Superman and I love his smile. The onset photos of Rachel as Lois and David as Superman are incredible. I cannot wait to see their chemistry as Lois and Clark as well. It is so exciting.

I unapologetically love that Superman suit. It’s a blend of Superman’s 3 most iconic looks. Classic, New 52, and Kingdom come. You have the colors and trunks from classic, you have the line detail and collar look from the new 52, and the Kingdom crest on the chest and the cape. I love how it’s a modern classic style while being it’s own unique thing. David also just looks so much like Superman as well. I’m still very much excited Rachel as Lois Lane also looks amazing I can feel David and Rachel’s chemistry thru these set photos.

I prefer his neck showing more for sure....although I prefer the opened-neck design to give the actor a broader chest and shoulder look in the Superman suit. I hated Routh's suit in Returns because that tight-neck look not only made him look skinny but I kept yanking at my own collar to breathe for him. Overall, I like Corenswet suit MUCH better than the original reveal. Love the vibrant (hopeful) colors and don't mind the return of the trunks at all.......as mentioned, I do hope they do his physique justice by tightening his suit in post. Wouldn't make sense to have him bulk up only to cover up his hard work. Looking forward to this.

I’m telling y’all the reason the trunks work here and I’m not mad at them is because they’re more boxer style trunks that boxers would wear compared to V shaped underwear. That’s the way to go with trunks on superhero suits In a modern era.

Lois and Perry look great! As for Superman, I'm still not hyped over the costume. I am a huge Superman fan and David totally looks like Superman! I love the cape with the S shield on the back, the vibrant colours and I don't even mind that he has the trunks again, but the costume overall has me underwhelmed. I truly hope that it will look amazing in the movie.

Man this is the excitement as fans we should have. Now we don't know what the story is or how good it'll be and I hope it's going to be epic.

I hope this works out. I'd love a great Superman movie. One thing that did happen to me is that I had to shake my head a moment.. i swore I saw Christopher Reeve's face for a moment, he's got the right facial features, that is for sure. I can't say I love this era and how Entertainment has constantly disappointed me since 2015 but I am willing to do research and try to keep my mind open. I wish the Henry Cavill era lasted longer, though. What i worry about is PLOT and Characterizations.

I think the trunks really don't work for this take on Superman. The trunks work best on iterations of the costume that are tighter and more form fitting. With as baggy as this suit is, they just look contrived

This suit looks horrible. And talking about them fixing it in post given backlash they may. But the plum line right now is the only official image they’ve put out and we have to assume based on that they’ll wash out the colors the one thing I do like to resemble that horrible image of him sitting down. This looks bad.

I just have two minor but important observations: 1.- Superman smiling 2.- The chemistry from Clark and Lois, and this is just a photo. I am sorry, but these are two thighs Snyder did not work on the chemistry between Clark and Lois. Everybody knew that Lois os the key, but they didn't know why because Snyder didn't invest time between these two characters, and that is why he failed.

In the set photo of the ship that Lois Lane and Perry White are stepping out of, I see a street sign that say Loeb...as in Commissioner Loeb! Of the Gotham City Police Department! Easter egg.

Snyder's MOS is a great movie! Although Snyders' choice to water down the source material made it difficult to identify with DC Superman. BvS an ZSJL were also very independent from DC but still great movies. Snyder's costumes for the characters were amazing so it's not fair to expect Gunn to do better. From what I've seen so far, Superman looks like Superman and I like the respect he has for the almost 100 years of DC source material. I like the design, it will also translate well to the animated projects. What doesn't make sense to me is when people complain about how it fits Corenswet then in the same breath say if will be fixed in post. You know the solution, so why complain? I like Snyder's work for what it was and will enjoy Gunn's live action comic book approach which honours the "legacy" of all the canon creators of DC Superman.

That suit is not good. The CW did better. Lois looks good, and you can't go wrong with Wendell Pierce, but that Superman suit doesn't work. Mr. Terrific looks OK. The film has a lot going against it. Loads of people are upset about the reboot (WBD stock tanked at the announcement and has continued to drop), the disastrous first reveal of the suit, it's going up against the F4 film from Marvel and Jurassic World 4, it went from a Superman film to having half the DC roster in it, the DC brand is heavily damaged by studio incompetence, and now the film is going woke as they are leaning on the gay message for the gay characters from The Authority. The big criticisms of BvS were too many characters and rushing the film world without proper development. But this film has far more characters than BvS and it's just jumping into a film world already existing. No development at all. So it's making the same mistakes but in a bigger way. And I don't think David Zaslav cares about the film. He just wants to sell WB and get out of the mess he's in. (A mess he inherited, could have fixed, and then made worse).

I'm interested to see the story, but I really don't like the suit. Because of its colour, can they fix it with CGI? It just feels like none of David's muscle-building is being enhanced by this rubber cosplay suit. What are your thoughts?

As a person who's been hating all the photos so far that I been seeing I will say that these are my favorite! Lois looks great and Clark/Superman looks ok as well. I wasn't liking the other photos with his costume but this one doesn't look ''that bad''.

Hey guy, im also a Superman fanatic since i was 3, like ur videos and ur enthusiasm..i think cast looks great..Mr Terrific is so comic accurate..i have seen Rachel Brosnahan in 2 movies were i thought she had sadly no personality but hopefully she will win me over..i mean she looks the part..I think David C looks the part too and his height and the curls makes me feel excited to see him on screen..The only issue for me is even though i like the colour of the suit i dont like the baggy look, it doesnt look alien more like a space suit by Nasa he painted over and put on..i hope it looks better when on screen but im worried...I do hope we get to see the rest of the cast soon though...

I would prefer white shirt / purple suit jacket for Lois. Purple sweater like this looks too casual for a journalist in my opinion. It depends on the context of the scene of course.

This is the highest I have been excited for a movie since The Batman. It's really amazing seeing the movie slowly being created and witnessing it is just the best vibe. Hope is filling my summer this 2024 and will do it even more in 2025, July 11th.
