Fun fact: the awnser to the question "why did every music video in the 70s have women without bras?" is actually that there was a huge movement about getting rid of the inequality between men and women walking bare chested and women had massive protests and gatherings where they burned their bras and "freed" their chest. So for a period of time between 70s and 80s alot of women didn't wear bras.

When he said, “I guess this was the thing back then, to just walk and be awkward with your band mates” I burst out laughing, because that’s what 1D did in some of there music videos (especially some of their earlier ones)

Actually the KISS video was, in the eighties, pretty important for the band. Before they wore costumes and make up. To stay relevant they decided to transform and this was the first video they wore 'normal' clothes and no make-up. It was a succes cause they had a golden record for that song. Later on in the ninetees they went back to the make up and costumes.

Not sure if this was said already, but Lick It Up was one of the most anticipated videos in the history of KISS. That was the first time the band was officially seen performing without their iconic makeup. Notice how long the shot of them from the waist down was.

The more I watch the "Cut to the Feeling" music video, the more it grows on me. I like that there's a buildup and they finally cut (no pun intended) to the dolly shot in the second chorus.
