Todoing Family - Caravan Road Trip Australia

We knew little about the Great Southern region in the lower south west of Western Australia, so when we arrived in Albany, Walpole and Denmark on our roadtrip of Australia we were ready to be surprised. It didn’t disappoint. We ended up in a dolphin rescue and very nearly ran out of fuel.
Despite the dramas we had some fantastic experiences including the valley of the giants tree top walk, greens pool, giant tingle trees, Whale World, the WOW Wilderness Cruise and a heap more.

Haha everyone has a close fuel call right! 😜 But, did you know the LC has about 20km’s worth of fuel that it doesn’t tell you about on the dial 😉

I just have a question will you sell or keep the caravan after your lap of Australia? Also congratulations on hitting 1000 subscribers! I also remember playing on the playground behind the ship

Woohoo! Thanks Eloise, very exciting. :) Great playground there. Our plan is to keep it and keep on travelling and doing different trips. BIg term goal - thinking of caravanning overseas at some point.

What a close call. How many litres per 100klms towing are you averaging?

Averaging about 17 to 18L per 100km pulling the van. Really happy with that, the chip and exhaust mods are awesome.

How much does your fuel tank hold? The cruiser is diesel but you keep referring to petrol . Also have you thought about ditching the jockey wheel and using a Trail A Mate ? So how much diesel did the ruiser take and how many $'s to fill?

Petrol the word is a force of habit, ever had a diesel before. Definite Diesel. It is 138L tank and we get around 24L per 100. Jockey Wheel is fine and functional.
