Great Spelling Program for an Older Struggling Student!

Ceana's journey to being a reader, writer and a speller has been slow but I'm happy to say that I'm thrilled with her progress. I found we needed to make a change again but one that wouldn't make her feel too young and this fits the bill. I hope this video helps you if you are helping a struggling speller and writer too! Hugs

I realize this is an old video, but I was curious how your daughter is doing. I believe she and my grandson are the same age now and we share the same struggles. He did Spelling You See and many other programs through the years. I finally started working with him slowly on the 1000 most commonly used written words. Did you stick with Power Spelling?

This is what I finally found that works best for her... Memorization only stays for the test period and then is lost to her. These stories stick in her head! I'm so excited to finally find it.
