Keeping your board between fights is wild, it really encourages you to play slow but the fatigue damage discourages it. Seems like a nice balance that allows for surprisingly difficult optimisation.

Yooo I'm so glad someone made this! I had been working on an MTG/StS style Roguelike with a friend of mine ages ago, but life got in the way. So pogged to see how this plays out.

It's a mixture of hearthstone and battlegrounds with some changes like Fight the same opponent until beaten then move on. No shop but U get a choice of relic or health and cards. But different enough. Interesting

I think if they have Fatigue in the game dealing direct damage to you, then they also have to have some kind of way to counter enemy battlespells and prevent them from being played, though that would probably throw off the balance and need adjusting. Damage shouldn't be completely unavoidable unless it's also inconsequential.

Good thoughts! there was a card in our old build that disrupted enemy battle spells, I'm not sure if that's still in though

I wonder if it would be possible to arrange some way to use some of the summoning effects with Sacrifice. Summon stuff up and then sacrifice them for an unending supply of stats.

Great idea! There are cards in the full version that let you play depleted minions so you can get some chunky combos going via deplete > play and repeat

Interestingly concise little micro-runs... I wonder if the full version would have you make a board multiple times, like fight 5 opponents and then have some kind of minor reset... Hmm. Cool though
