I’ve had this before! This type of bread is quite heavy and has a subtly sweet taste imo. It’s definitely worth a taste if you’re ever in Iceland! When I came back from the county and brought some back with me, a TSA agent thought I was carrying a brick haha

I went to St. Viateur bagel shop when I was in Montreal. It was a very good bread, but as a New Yorker, I do not consider it to be a bagel. It’s too soft and light. They’re both good, but are in 2 different worlds.
