I mean I understand it from both sides... but also based on the angle of the camera at least it was probably a GREAT shot no? It looked like he had NO room to put that puck in, but he did. lol Also, never really thought about it in my hockey days... but I feel like none of us were really THAT concerned about getting the tendy warmed up. Which shouldn't be how it is... but I feel like thats how it is. lmao

I have to say what stands out to me the most besides how well this is put together and how hilarious Markus is, is how much he loves what he does, what a great guy he seems like, and how smart he is. He made the most saves if he was in the nhl the record was held by Ron Rugnutt with 70 saves on 73 shots and the Quebec Nordiques tied 3-3 with the bruins in 3/21/91 almost 33 years ago.

Didn't realize last goalie vid I watched... but are goalie skates still a thing? I see Markus wears regular skates. Not that goalie skates ever really made sense other than maybe the blade shape making it easier to dig a toe or heel in to slide around while sprawled out. They had that full plastic cup around the outside but like... the toe of a normal skate is protected as fuck, I could see maybe wanting the extra protection around the ankle though(as someone who once broke a kids ankle when he blocked my shot 😈) I remember trying goalie skates a couple times in my day (when FORCED to play goalie) and they were TERRIBLE for me to even just skate around in. lmao

Side note question for the "young goalies out there" Why is reaching across your body to catch the puck a bad habit? The alternative would be to use the blocker arm yes(or just letting the puck fly)? Which is much less controlled of an outcome. Or is it a positioning/experience thing? Like "If I have to reach across my body to get it, then it won't even be on net. Or at worst it hits my shoulder and flys off."
