My theory on why Furno is different in his bike set compared to the standalone Furno set is just that the latter's leg armor and feet wouldn't connect naturally to the bike, and the keetorange would have blended in too much with the bike's colors.

I used the purple parts from the bike (along with the armor from Voltix) on a Hero Factory MOC many years ago, should be buried somewhere down my IG feed haha! I wish we got more purple in the line

something worth noting: the speeda demon bike set is the ONLY way to get Speeda Demon, whereas you could get Furno as a separate canister without the bike.

There are definitely some corners cut on speeda demon’s bike that aren’t on Furno’s bike. That’s why you always gotta go to hero auto repairs.

in Furno bike set, Furno is the weak point of the set, but the bike makes up for it while in Speeda Demon set the bike is the weak point and Speeda Demon doesn't make up for it

"Of course CCBS didn't exist when the Furno bike came out" Considering that every Hero Factory line was in development for 2 years before it actually came out, it's probable that it _did_ exist in some unreleased prototype form.
