Finally, in instructor that let's me "stand behind you" to mirror your steps at a speed slow enough for an American novice with a broken Greek ancestry to follow. I would find if very helpful, and a little more fun, if at the very end of each lesson we could do the steps that we just learned to music. Thanks :)

Would love to include music and dance at the end but unfortunately the US has very strict copyright laws and as such block the videos... Hence you probably can't see part 2 of the video and many others that I have done.

It's a good explanation. I like it. You make it easier to lern the steps in front of a video. I saw a few who writes lesson and dance directly to the music. So I couldn't understand the steps. But you explain every single step more than once. Thank you.

Hi, and thanks for the comment. No, this is not like Sousta, what you are thinking of is the Hasaposerviko. You can search for it on youtube, its an easy dance to learn but at the moment I have no plans to do it. Good luck with it.

Hi Caralee, and thanks for the comment. I have the second part up on youtube but not the other two parts. Saying that you can just repeat the first two parts.

You are welcome! I just now looked for Hasapiko, Part 2, only to discover that it is not available. Are you ever planning to post it?

You do a great job. I like all of your Greek dance videos. I cannot find your Part 2 of the Hasapiko. Have you put it on KZfaq?
@ProfitisElias8 жыл бұрын
part 2 is up... are you based in the USA? it could be that it is blocked as I have some music in the video.
@lindah.62878 жыл бұрын
Yes. I am in USA. Do you have a video for the Tsamikos? I am having a terrible time trying to find music that fits each of the dances. I find music, but I don't know which dances to do to which song. Maybe you could post Part 2 without music for the US.

Hello, I am a dance major student at a university and our research project is to research different cultures and learn about a specific dance. I see that hasapiko is a greek folklore dance. I was wondering if you can share some knowledge on this dance, as well as if my group and I can ask you a few questions in a quick interview and learn a short little combination of that particular dance. Thank you.
@moshelichtenstein80294 жыл бұрын
just came across your video, very impressed! did you make the whole Hasapiko routine? (3 and 4)

Hi folkdance, video is already online. Unfortunately they are blocking it in the US as I have a song in the video... copy rights!

I like it very much, but it would be more fun and also more helpful to be able to feel it if you could include music, please
@ProfitisElias Жыл бұрын
Hi svetlanavukolic8242, I have music on the second video. If you can't find it, its because it is blocked in your country due to the music.... Hence, no music on first video
