Boil the octopus for 45- 1hr to tenderize it then put it on grill or bbg for few minutes and it's done

I had grilled octopus every day in Greece. It was amazing. There are some Greek restaurants in Astoria Queens, NY that make awesome grilled octopus ❤

Got to let your octopus cool in the liquid before taking it out. It'll suck up all those juices while cooling and be very moist. If you don't it'll dry out very quickly.

Had a crack at this yesterday, spot on! Normally in the pot of water, but this was an amazing difference. Cheers. Must have been from a high end Greek Restaurant.

If you use the best quality octopus you would be using Hawaiian Islands Octopus 😮😂

I made this for dinner tonight. It was SO GOOD! My husband lived in Athens for a year and he really liked the grilled octopus. Thank you for the delicious recipe. Now you have to teach us how to make octopus rice. :)

Hey, great video! I’m a bit late to the party, what can I use instead of red wine vinegar? I thought of red wine + balsamic and regular vinegar or red wine + lemon juice. Thanks for the help

i guess also because you started braising it at room temp instead of at boiling it helps keep the tentacles straight, is there a difference in taste with greek oregano though? and very nicely done ,nice product at the end perhaps maybe some thinly sliced red onion for color would go good with that salad

You burnt the bottom of it because you put the hotel pan, which is thin stainless, too close to the heating element. Also, you said the octopus is "residual." I think you may have meant resilient
