Oliver's shirt that says 'SHERWOOD' is a reference to Sherwood Forest in Nottingham; this is where the alleged Robin Hood lived who had many similarities to the Green Arrow.

Just fucking dawned on me. John Diggle....Little John...The only reason it made me realize that was because they fought on a bridge..good on DC keeping with the Robin Hood references.

Sean Daily I only realized it just cause you mentioned it, but this is a really shitty read/run. John is a better character in the show since he has a family but he's a generic douche in this run. Also Robin Hood is better referenced as Ollie's inspiration to become green arrow, than some crappy subtle reference like the bridge. Go read green arrow year one or read Lemire's run

This was one of my surprise favorites from DC Rebirth. Definitely a standout and the art was a nice change from some of the other titles.

Considering how often he lands on that specific island, he really should consider developing it. Maybe a nice resort. Or at the very least a base with supplies and a boat. Even Gilligan's group figured that one out.

Hey Comicstorian, it will be a great video series if you can do an explanation of the rebirth for each heroe, like an explanation how things were before the new 52, what happend in the new 52 and how rebirth is fixing things if that is the case.
