I always thought this was the most unappealing Thanksgiving side dish. Leave it to you to transform it into something incredible, by making it from scratch, with love and your magic touch. Such talent!

Love this! You fixed it. If I remember right, green bean casserole was invented in the 1970's by a major processed food company to move product. Their plan worked because of a brilliant ad campaign featuring dreamy-voiced narrators calling it a "tradition" when really it had just been invented. Fifty years on, and now people have grown up with it so it is a tradition to them. To my very old self, the mushy mess the food company pushed on us tastes like manipulation. But so many think ot is a must-have there is no avoiding it. Your version avoids those sad canned foods in favor of fresh lovely ingredients, so we can have our green bean casserole and actually enjoy it! Thanks!

Usually your videos are without narrations. You have a soothing voice. It's nice to hear what you are doing. I like your videos either way, but this way I enjoyed a little more, especially since I just had a kitchen fail of my own - dumped the husband's drink all over the floor, then our chaffles got burned while we were cleaning up the mess.
