Recipe for: Green Beans with Potatoes Stew. Homemade Delight with the Aroma of Summer. Great Yummy!
Necessary products:
350 grams of green beans, washed, cleaned and cut in half
4 potatoes, roughly chopped
1 onion, finely chopped
2 carrots, finely chopped
3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
1 tomato, finely chopped
1 bunch of chives, finely chopped
70 g of tomato puree
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Red pepper to taste
Oil
Method of preparation:
Heat the oil in a saucepan.
Add the onion, carrots and garlic. Fry for 1-2 minutes until soft.
Add the tomato puree and red pepper. Stir well.
Add about 1 liter of water and bring to a boil.
Once boiling, add the potatoes and green beans. Stir.
Cover the pot with a lid and let it simmer on a moderate heat for 20 minutes.
Add the tomato. Season with salt and pepper.
Add half of the jaggery and mix.
Cover the pot with a lid and simmer over moderate heat for another 20-30 minutes, until the potatoes and green beans are tender.
Sprinkle with the remaining chives and serve.
