Look at these chumps - no tattoos, no fancy equipment and stuff. Mike with his hair, Billie with this blonde hair and black hat, pure chumps. Chumps, who have evolved into one of the best bands in the world and who are my absolute favorite band in the world. Fantastic footage. I've watched this entire 'concert' a few times and I can watch it a thousand times more.

I love this song because I can relate to it so much. every teen has gone through a phase in their life when they wish they were younger and didn't have a care in the world, now were expected to get a job and are rushed into planning out our future.

@iceleon25 Kerplunk came out in early 92. The video is from 1990, and the drummer in the video is John Kiffmeyer, not Tre. From this I conclude that a) the songs were written and performed by the band long before the recording, and b) between the time of this school performance and Kerplunk, Tre replaced Kiffmeyer (actually, Kiffmeyer does play drums on many of the Kerplunk songs -- that recording is about the time that Kiffmeyer went off to college and Tre became the drummer (yay!) ).

@kinggagkk The only songs on Kerplunk that John drummed on are the 4 "bonus songs" at the end - it's just the Sweet Children EP that they recorded in 1990 stuck on the end of the album. Tre replaced John in 1990 afew months after this show.
