Daniel Dördelmann made a childhood dream come true when he bought a first-generation, 7-series BMW. His 1978 BMW 730 is a rare model, but what makes it truly one of a kind is its color: green, inside and out. For him, it was love at first sight.

When I was a kid my Dad's squash partner had this exact car, also in that colour combo. I was always amazed by it every time I saw it. My Dad drove a silver Rover SD1 with brown velour interior at that time which was good but the BMW was obviously a far superior piece of engineering, just don't tell my Dad...

Ich lebe in Moldawien, vor 14 Jahren hatte ich einen E-23, 728. Es ist nicht nur ein Auto, es ist ein BMW, MERCEDES ist kein Auto, es ist ein MEISTERWERK, es ist ein BMW, MERCEDES. Jetzt suche ich einige dieser MEISTERWERKE zur Restaurierung. E-23, E-32 oder W-123 W-126. Seit meiner Kindheit liebe ich DEUTSCHE QUALITÄT.

Beautiful! I owned a 1979 733i 4-speed manual North American spec. It was an amazing (and awfully unreliable) vehicle. Mine was light metallic blue with a navy blue leather interior.
