@MichaelWood-mh2pv That's good. Imagine he looks outside and watches birds then he starts jumping around trying to fly. I see a lot of Iguana's in the pet stores, but they are always packed and priced high. ^_^

Jorge sits on his perch outside basking in the sun😆 but his favorite thing to do is sit on top of the couch and watch tv 👍😆 there is videos on Jorge’s channel outside on his perch 👍

As a kid, I always thought Iguanas were native to Florida since most merchandise has that Daytona beach with an iguana vibe. Found out that they’re an invasive species to North America. So where did this species originate from? I’m thinking South America, but I could be entirely wrong.

Iguanas are from Central and South America! I spoke with a young lady from Mexico where they are native to, and they often eat iguanas. Here in Florida, they are invasive, so reminder to my Floridian buddies to call Florida Wildlife Management to remove an iguana. Or you can trap it yourself, but be careful, they can be aggressive!

His nails are overgrown for being a domestic pet.

Jorge’s claws are fine. When I sand then , they grow back sharper in a few days. He needs his claws to climb up his perch. He walks around a lot so the sharp points wear down a bit. Jorge is a big lizard and his longest claws are nearly 30 mm long. But are safe. Jorge does not live in a tank or cage 👍

@@scott_madsen They are overgrown lmao, he even said "He walks around a lot so the sharp points wear down a bit." because he doesn't trim them. I own iguana's, those claws are overgrown and he would be more comfortable with them shortened while walking on hardwoods and through the house.

It was a good ending for a baby iguana , he was happy with his training, just like you probably played with toys, this juvenile iguana thought is was great! I’m sure you yourself, thought things where great, when playing with your toys 🤔😆👍
