The Brothers Four are an American folk singing group, founded in 1957 in Seattle, Washington, known for their 1960 hit song "Greenfields", released in January 1960, and hit #2 on the pop charts.
Here is my version using another of Luca's great backing tracks. I hope you like it. Dave and Dave

Hi Dave, you play the song great. Off the charts, "Greenfields" was chosen by John Wayne for his heroic epic ALAMO and also won an Oscar for it. Mark Pearson talks about it in concert video "campfire 10".

Very sugary song by The Brothers Four and is much better as an instrumental .The Ventures brought it out on an album in 1961 and for me this one is the benchmark . I like the intro on their version ( give it a listen ) and so I`m a bit biased to theirs. However I did like this as Luca`s too which he did with accoustic .You`ve gave it Dave style on your lovely U S Fender and I really like it .Excellent upload and I`ll move you on to Park Lane ( you`ve got Mayfair so a hotel next ! lol ) It`s 9/10 .A nice wee plinky plonky start and finish ala Ventures would have given you 10 . Super duper though ! ...great b/t too by our Italian stallion ! lol .
