@@GreenGeckoLegoTechnicWorkshop nice. I'm australian and have been all my life but have a NewZealand name. Yet have never been to NZ. When I do eventually come over to NZ could we meet up? Maybe teach me a few thing about how gears work? I have never understood how to make complex/simple gears.

Really awesome that engine and the whole hotrod. One question here: have you tried to RC'fy the car with a bottle of compressed air spray or iSi soda capsule and an Sbrick for remote controling? That would be the ultimate compressed air rc machine.

After many hours of hard work building the Whole car it is finally done. I am thinking of building a Pneumatic Power Off-Roader, What size of engine do you think it should have? i am thinking of using a inline 6... Comment Down Below on your thoughts...😃

Green Gecko Lego Technic Workshop I think you should do a really low gearing v12 for power so you can really off road I know it's not realistic but it would still be cool an i6 would work too but you need really low gearing

sad that it would take a bigger car to make it truly remote controlled, but you might need an nzxt brick? i'm not sure of any better way to do that, i'm not a proper lego nerd soz

I love the perfect timing of the pistons and the fact that you have built an entire chassis for the engine. The only thing that I miss, that would have made me melt is a gearbox. Anyways it is undeniably one the most amazing creations I've ever seen made with Lego. Great work

Do you think it's worth lubricating all those squeaky plastic moving parts somehow? I always think about this when I see Lego creations on KZfaq.

yes and no, if you want to use the parts in another model i recommend not to. but if the model (engine ) is going to stay built, it is worth it. my engines no don't squeak so i don't do it. the yellow knob gears are the problem in this car.

Very cool! Steering would be even quicker and more precise if it was hydraulic, could you just fill the pneumatic steering system with water?

thank you, i chose not to put water in the steering cylinders because it would make it rust. i could use thin oil, maybe next time.

If you gear it down and increase pressure going to the engine it should be more powerful and sound better

I might've missed something, but if the controller has to be connected to the car, how does the car drive around and be controlled if the car is just dragging the controller? Dumb question I know, I'd imagine you'd just have a really really long air tube, great build by the way! I love how the wheels can turn

The pneumatic elements output more force than Legos can really handle. You'd snap things left and right if you held the output shaft with pliers and gave it full pressure.

this engine the power of about 8 XL motors and the rpm of a buggy motor. very powerful, and excellent power to weight ratio too

According to my calculator, the power is about 18W if you modified the switch, for 11N.cm (XL has 40n.cm at 220rpm, so 5N.cm if we compare to 1500rpm by gearing up).

Would it work better for the steering if you add fluid (water) in the cylinders? Maybe it is a little faster response then.

yes and no, water will make it rust but will be better for the steering. it works fine how it is.

Thanks, it depends on how large the air tank is. It uses like 1 to 1.5 liters a minute of driving on a flat surface. You have made some cool models with RC gear, i am right into the RC hobby as well. 😀

if you make great quality videos with new and quality content you should have no problem reaching 1K. Then you just got to keep it up. good luck, once you get over 1K subs things get a little easier.

Make a clutch on it, when engine turns on, the wheels don't move. When you put it on forward it will automatically move

Do you think it’s possible to make a car that doesn’t need to be hooked up to anything and can just get a vacuum into the engine onboard the car type deal?

I have made an LPE Powered 8x8 Truck with onboard Air Tanks. It Needs air supply to Run any Lego Pneumatic Engine.
