Hello friends, This time I am making a cable reel out of wood to organize the extension cable. I used some plywood and hard wood. It became a beautiful cable reel. I used 50 meters of cable, but it is possible to wind more than 80 meters of cable. I also prepared a PDF document containing the dimensions and you can find the link for this plan below. You can easily make an extension cable reel by downloading this plan. Believe it is easy, just watch the video.
With this reel, it is possible to put an end to cable mess. Why buy expensive reels in stores? We can do it ourselves!

Вещь в хозяйстве просто необходимая. Но лучше сделать 2-3 таких, только на меньшую длину кабеля. За работу лайк однозначно!👍

Buena idea,pero al enrrollar el cable estás haciendo una bobina, qué va a hacer al cable resistivo y por lo tanto habrá caída de tensión y recalentamiento, a no ser que la desenrrolles toda. Mi nuera humilde opinión Tec. Elec. Venezuela. Ángel Marcano león.

De punta madre, esto es lo que yo necesito, la extensión eléctrica siempre se hace un enredo en el maletero del auto... Así se pierde tiempo al trabajar... Desenrredando. Esa porqueria, claro también está la opción de herramientas inhañambricas, cierto! También tengo de esas sin embargo hay herramientas de fuerza las cuales necesariamente te debes usar corriente alterna... Así que por lo pronto está genial tu bastidor de cable amigo... Felicidades... Es endemoniada ente util

Wow! This is excellent. May I call you master of DIY, sir? This cord was really in need for me & now I got it. While watching you in action what thrilled me in entire session is that key installations like bench drill, bench grinder cum grinding belt, lathe machine(in my opinion) and clamps etc are all DIY version. Will be waiting eagerly for your next session. My humble regards..

катушка из фанеры- это то что мне нужно, буду сам делать. глянул много видосов, там и из "канализационной" трубы был вариант и набором колец из фанеры, но проще из нескольких деревяшек-брусков

Be careful using this while cable is coiled onto the spool. Can become a giant inductor and heat up. I had a plastic reel begin to melt this way once. Great build - now I need to make one.

Exactly what I thought when he plugged the grinder. I’m a retired carpenter and I never used it like that, I always run the cable out at least 15 - 20 meters.

Насчет дешевле это вы загнули. Если делать самому, то и кабель желательно помощнее, и розеточки с вилочкой понадежней. Так, чтобы и сварочку потянуло, и болгарку мощную. А такого в магазине в большинстве нету. А если есть, то ненамного дешевле, если самому закупать и делать.

Давно такі роблю для бригад монтажників з бухт тв кабелів, він же RG-кабель. Єдине, слід пам'ятати, що для зварювальних робіт переноску треба робити з товстого ПВС і розмотувати повністю.

Very good build. Just one thing that I would like to know is, do you have to unravel the whole cord from the reel to stop it getting too hot under load?. Also is there a video showing how to make a jig for cutting circles with your router? Sorry, forgive me, that’s two things.

Hello, I'm sorry for my late reply. As far as I know, there is no need to untie the whole cord. Unfortunately I don't have a video for the subject you mentioned. But in my videos you can see how I cut a circle.

@@GreenSaw You are simply not an educated person in terms of physics and electrical engineering. With this you have created a magnetic coil with a rod inside. And you advise people not to unwind completely. Under normal load, there will be overheating and further ignition. Only complete unwinding of the cable will eliminate such consequences. Maybe harsh, but true.
