I learned about vivian's true story back when i was 18, so back when I was still deep in closet and set in more negative ways. I enjoyed it since for one, it was more interesting than just...you're ugly. It gave more of a reason for the strangeness of how they acted than just vivian looking ugly to her older sis. I was hyped when i learned that censorship was being reversed. Though you know the types that gets up in arms with conversations like that, they ignore or never even paid attention to other examples to "prove their point"

20:50 So then why I see people still demanding that certain things about for example Persona 4 aren't what they think they are ? My problem on the whole thing is that some people only want to engage it on one POV while other POVs are not "right enough" to be argued. Equal rights imho means also equal way of judgement.

Bringing up the pink blood in Danganrompa reminds me of how it's also in Master Detective Archives : Rain Code. Mild spoiler, but it is plot relevant in a way I would not have expected. Trust me. I'm trying to avoid spoiling it further, and I already feel like I've said "Delicious Pancakes" to someone playing Persona 5 for the first time.

The Vivian being Trans bit you guys talked about here reminds me of some discourse around Bridget when SHE came out as Trans in Strive. But from what i understand (& if i get anything wrong, please correct me since I'm not the most knowledgeable about Guilty Gear), it was something involving Bridget's backstory which IIRC, it's rather complicated Again, if i got anything wrong, DO try to forgive me

22:34 even with overreaction, why would they post a demo with that much detail by default ? At that point made the product like the final release by default or similar to that. By making a change (with also how current social media reacts to it) you are in a PR disater.

If you look up ComicFoil on Twitter, he's actually doing a thread of LGBTQ representation from video games for Pride Month. I recommend giving it a read.

@@greenscorpion64 Sadly, I'm not on Twitter/X (for a few reasons), but I would like to suggest the two of you look up this game I've heard about. Ace In Space. It's a dating sim ... Where the main character is canonically Asexual! Seriously, feels good to see Asexual representation without it being portrayed as childish, inhuman, inhumane, or Aromantic in an obligatory sense. I definitely know of tons of LGBTQIA+ games and characters out there, but it feels like us Aces get a bit of an awkward deal there.
