Hey! Just watched your ten hour boss music video, loved it! But here is a story in case if you were to do another one. Story is based off of lore from Terraria: Calamity mod. See Roar of the Jungle Dragon, or Stained Brutal Calamity for inspiration if need be. (Highly recommend you listen, they’re awesome) Part 1: preparation The hero is preparing for the final battle for his world. They know the first part of the prophecy has been fulfilled, by defeating the brimstone witch. They gather their arsenal, equip their armor and accessories; brewing the strongest potions for the deciding battle. Part two: acknowledgement As the hero approaches the battlefront; they tyrant they have been aiming to defeat stands in the center of the field. They stand for a moment; acknowledging each of their own feats and strength. They unsheathe their blades, as a breeze passes through. Part three A: Kingdom Come The two warriors clash with a strength of a thousand suns, creating a shockwave that announces the beginning of the end. As they battle, the viewer can see the past of the tyrant. They see the tyrant’s; Yharim; past childhood, his misfortune, and his rise to power; and then his depression. As he fights, he feels that he thrill of what he always wanted; a rival. The battle rages on, swords clashing, projectiles exploding, and the former tyrant feels the joy of being toe to toe with someone. Part three B: To be undone The hero battles with all of their might. As the battle goes on, the hero thinks on what the brimstone witch said at the end of their battle. “Once the dust has settled and only one remains, if it is you, what value will this have had?! Even if he has thrown all else away, his power remains. Once you have bested me, you will only have one path forward, and that path... also has no future.” The hero ponders once again if he has the right path. They clear their head as the defend and attack their enemy. They tell themselves that this is the path to peace and righteousness. To cleanse the world of all the evils, even the gods themselves. The reflect on all they has slain, and all they have befriended. It is at this point that the battle starts to end. Part four: Earth on heaven The two fly and dash through the battlefield, and each is beginning to tire. But they still go head to head, releasing all their power as they both exert their greatest powers. They charge at each other one last time, shouting as they clash in an explosion that would wipe out a medium sized continent. Part five: Give us this day, our final breath As they stand at each others backs, waiting for one to fall, they complement their respective strengths; as the tyrant leans on his blade from his wounds, making the victor the hero, they both collapse from exhaustion, and find that they are one in the same; they search for a rival. As the tyrant accepts defeat, and death, the hero shows mercy, and offers to rebuild his kingdom, one that shall be ruled with peace, and not fear, as the day fades to dusk.
