I met a former Greenwheel band member recently who told me about this band which led me to this song. This song is great and 10 years later is still better than many of the new hits on the radio. Although they were only High School kids at the time, these guys were extremely talented. The lead singer has an incredible voice and I think if this song was played to a new generation of listeners who have never heard it before, it might climb the charts. I also enjoyed Dim Halo and Shelter.

theme song for black sash - just discovered it today - love the song

One of my favorite bands ever... I saw them open for Hoobastank years ago and was hooked. "Soma Holiday" is an amazing album from first song to last and I really wish they were still around. Island Records screwed them... they sold the song to Etheridge and the guys didn't know until they heard it on the radio. Then when they finally finished their second album, they dropped the band and hi-jacked the album. That is very disheartening for a musician... but they rocked!

Listening in 2024. Went to school with the wannigers. Saw them with Frank Pettis in Chicago and in Az. Great memories Rock on

I bought the album Soma Holiday after reading Brave New World in high school. Because I'm a nerd. Loved the album. Love this song.

I love when songs I haven't heard in years just pop in my head. Shania Twain kept coming up when I searched the line " it only hurts when I breathe." It was making me mad. I knew it was a man singing. I had to add the "I'm alright."

Saw these guys in concert in the early 2000's when they opened up for Ash & Our Lady Peace... They were the best band there that night.

I miss this band, I love this song and I love Soma Holiday. So much soul in their music.

My sister and I still love Greenwheel. Still listening! We first saw them open for Hoobastank, and that was it-- when they came back around on their own private tour we jumped on seeing them! Unfortunately my Greenwheel merch. Did not make it through the years :(.

I was lucky enough to see them perform live in Louisville, KY twice in the mid-2000's. They were awesome! Such a great band.

I was a young teenager when I found out about Greenwheel right after Soma Holiday. I'm from Sweden so that is a feat of some sort! I will say. My music teacher told me about them. I am still confounded why they did not make it big! Soma Holiday is still one of my favorite rock albums.

I have a demo CD of these guys from about 2001, it has 3 tracks: Strong, Dim Halo and Faces....Can't remember where or how I got it now....
