You comparing the electric Pressure Washer to a gas Pressure Washer is the same as comparing a gasoline car vs a electric hybrid vs Tesla. I have a Sun Joe SPX 3200 with 2030PSI and I use a GW Surface Cleaner. It’s great! Good job!

Kathy's husband: very good review. You are exactly right. If you want electric, this unit is the best. I have one and it works better than i expected. I also use a foam canon, the MTM pf22.2 and it works great. If you change the orafice to 1.1 it gives a thick foam. That canon is expensive, but you can get a cheaper one and change the orafice. There are KZfaq's on how to do it. I returned an Adams canon because it leaked. Like you said, it's not gas, but it will do your household tasks and is great for hands off car washing.

Good information. I've never changed an orafice, but I'll look into it. Thanks for watching!

@@screamindemon24 I'm sure when they do it will kill lower end gas units, or as they say cannibalize their sales. I'm sure it's a matter of time. I don't mind paying the price of a gas unit, I just want the convenience of electric ✌️. Great thorough video of the units abilities, thanks for taking the time.
@screamindemon244 жыл бұрын
There will be the die hard gotta-have-gas people for a long time. But yeah, the sales in gas units will drop. Most people will pay for the convenience of a true 2.3 gpm electric unit for home if the price is relatively close to the gas unit price. I'm waiting for battery powered units as powerful as gas 😂

Have you ever had the issue that when you go from the 0 degree tip (turbo) to any of the angled tips the machine shuts off after pulling the trigger and getting water for 5 seconds? Seems really odd what is happening almost like it can't take the line pressure the angled tips cause.
@screamindemon244 жыл бұрын
I haven't experienced that. I've changed the nozzles back and forth several times from turbo to the angles to the surface cleaner without incident.

I am a first time home buyer and want a good pressure washer for the purpose of keeping my driveway/sidewalks clean. I have a lot of red clay on my sidewalk and tire marks with the lawn mower. I bought a detergent that removes red clay. I spoke to the creator of the product and he thought a 2700 electric pressure washer would be powerful enough to remove red clay. Based on my needs do you think I should get this product or go with gas? My only concern with electric is dragging the electrical cord from one side of the house to another. Concern with gas is maintenance of the product and buying gas, etc., etc. Hoping you could help somehow. Great video, btw.
@screamindemon244 жыл бұрын
I'm not familiar with the red clay or the remover. The 2700 is truly a great machine for being electric. By far, gas is more powerful. As much as I loved the 2700 unit, I ended up returning the product shortly after I did the video. The absolute only reason I returned it was because it was much slower to clean the driveway and sidewalks compared to using gas. It did a great job, just as clean, only slower; and I'm pressed for time. As far as dragging a cord, consider this: the cord is 35' and the hose is 25' long, giving you a total of 60' reach. So, as long as you have a enough outdoor receptacles, then you can get all around your house with unplugging it and a quick wrap of the cord. That is simpler than dragging a gas unit with less reach. Plus there's no changing oil, cleaning the air filter, etc... If you've used a gas pressure washer in the past, and you think you'll need that much power, then get gas. If you think you don't need that much power, and want simple, then go with the 2700. I will say that if you decide to go with electric, then this is definitely the unit you should get. Remember the part in the video where I tried to etch the concrete? The 2700 doesn't etch my concrete. My 3000 psi gas powered will etch concrete. That's not because it has 300 more psi. It's because it has 300 more psi and another gallon per minute of water. Now, that's not saying gas will etch your concrete every time you use it. My gas only etches concrete if I use a zero degree nozzle and hold it in place or slowly move. But you won't be cleaning concrete with a zero degree nozzle; so don't worry about etching or putting lines in your concrete. In any case, electric or gas, get some pump saver to protect your pump between uses. It's a can of lubricant that you connect to the water inlet on your unit. You do a quick squirt until the lubricant comes out the outlet (be sure to disconnect you pressure washer hose to see the lubricant come out; wear goggles and keep your face away from the outlet.) It doesn't have far to travel, so it will come out fast. Do it in an area that you either don't mind getting oil on, or an area you've protected with cardboard or something. The stuff sprays out of the outlet. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
@InfallibleBible4 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much, this is really helpful information. I will definitely buy the pump saver. Well, I want simple but I want efficient as well. I want something that cleans heavy stains, can get oil up and tire stains, etc. I am not pressed for time as you are but I have a corner lot and I guess it my responsibility to clean the sidewalks on city's property adjacent to my lot? That being the case I don't want to spend all day cleaning. You mentioned it cleans just as good as gas so that is good news. How cumbersome is it to change air filter and maintain a gas pressure washer? I have a gas trimmer for my yard but I imagine there is more to maintain with pressure easier. Based on your info I may just buy a electric one and if I dont like it I will return. The convience of not having to maintain the gas one is winning point for me.

Your honest thoughts on me doing pressure washing jobs for other people with this pressure washer ? Do you think it’s capable of doing a good job even if it does take a bit longer?
@screamindemon243 жыл бұрын
I think it can eventually do a good job at most jobs, given additional time. But if you're doing it to make money, then you'll be able to do more jobs, faster, in more locations (those without electricity) and make more money with a gas pressure washer. Think of it this way: Charge $100 for a job. It takes 1.5 hours with electric. You made $66/Hr. With gas, it takes 1 hour. You made $100/Hr. In which case you leave to the next job earlier, do more jobs a day, etc..

It's defiantly the best consumer level electric washer but it still does NOT come close to the Professional units Like the Pressure-Pro Professional 2000 which has a REAL 2000 PSI @ 4 GPM or the AR Blue Clean Professional 1900 which has a Real 1900 PSI @ 2.1 GPM. Greenworks rating are deceptive, They like to do that MAX crap. If you have $800 get the AR Blue Clean Professional 1900 with stop/start or $650 without stop/start, Much more power!!!!
@screamindemon244 жыл бұрын
Agreed. There is so much deception out there. If you have that kind of money and want electric, then one of the upper end brands will give you the power to knock your socks off; a true cleaning power comparable to gas. This Greenworks 2700 is just a step up from the 1600-2000 PSI electric ones we often see. Thanks for the input!
@g.donuts35514 жыл бұрын
To the deception in manufacturers specs you are so right, especially with the electric pressure washers. Recently purchased a Sun Joe SPX3500 2300psi. Returned same day. Damn thing had less actual pressure output than a little 1600osi Ryobi I have.

Water inlet and outlet are held into place by a U clip running through the cast aluminum. This is a very weak point and is where my 2000 PSI unit broke with moderate use. Bought at Lowes with a one year warrentee. To fix it you have to replace the whole pump and good luck getting it off. Another very cheap China product.
