Greetings from Goldfinger - Rolls Royce Phantom III 1936

A beautiful Rolls Royce Phantom III presented in an adequate setting - Klessheim Palace - Salzburg, you could almost think you are in the middle of the James Bond film Goldfinger,
which is still the epitome of all James Bond films today.
This model also became known through the James Bond film Goldfinger.
Rolls Royce only built the chassis and mechanics for this model, the bodies were built by a wheelwright at the customer's request. Like Mr. Goldfinger's and they were made of solid gold.

Ich finde gut, dass der Fahrer kein Dach hat und im Regen sitzen muss. Da fühlt man sich hinten noch wohler und kann in Schadenfreude genießen.

Thank you for your comment and compliment. This is why I selected this music - J.S. Bach Orchestersuite D-Dur BWV 1068 "Air", because it matches perfect to the car and the castle Kleßheim in Salzburg to my opinion. 😀

The bodies were built by coachbuilders. The word wheelwright means someone who makes wheels only.

First thing, the RR In Goldfinger was a P lll 1937, and not a 1936 in horrible green.

Thank you for your comment and the information. You are right, Goldfingers RR was built in 1937 and was yellow/black. I only chose the title for the clip "Greetings from Goldfinger" as a reference to the film. Regarding the color green - tastes are sometimes very different.

@@roadrarities Yellow is NOT a very regal RR color, green being more natural is my preference. A years difference is a moot point. Classic car! Love it! My fav would be a blue or blue grey.
