Agreed. I could never get into dillinger escape plan. But he was part of this error project that had an ep years back. Was really into that. Then just last year I discovered the black queen and have been absolutely obsessed with them. Now this project. Dude knows how make a good song.

I'm really fucking late to this party ffs. DEP were/are my favourite ever band since i first heard them in 2002 but life has taken me on a different path and I havent listenend to them for a good 6 years now. I was bang into Black Queen when they came out, had a nice interaction with Greg on Twitter when I first heard Ice To Never. I was suicidal as fuck and wanted to off myself, told him that tune stopped me from doing it and he sent me a fucking lovely tweet. Cant believe I've slept on my 2nd favourite ever musician for so long. This tune is a fucking banger. I need to sort my life out and accept myself for who I am and listen to my shit instead of pretending to be someone im not. Fucking banger of a tune this.

Jesus Christ, this song is facemeltingly good. Like play on repeat a dozen times. Those two moments (you know the ones) are transcendent. This might be my #1 track of the year. Also: I normally don’t like Live versions more than studio, but this take is one of the outstanding exceptions. (I also dig how it sounds like he fills in the “missing” word in the “Don’t you and I belong? Where did I go [wrong]?”)

Don’t forget he also started a record label. Federal Prisoner. Him and his friend Jesse Draxler. Jesse released an industrial sounds album with audio taken from the urban landscape of LA. He gave the audio to a bunch of handpicked artists and put their interpretations on an album. Greg is on it.

Holy fuck this is great, way better than the album version imo. This has been on repeat since I found it a couple hours ago. The bass could be higher in the mix, sounds fantastic on Spotify though. God what banger. That drop into the second chorus, then the like, 2nd drop in the 2nd half of the chorus with THICK guitars, fuck man, whew. Reminds me of the end of the NIN song No You Don't when the guitars totally max out the equalizer/mix. \m/ \m/

Very happy to have discovered this project. I’ve always been so-so on Dillinger Escape Plan, but this is absolutely fantastic songwriting. As a huge fan of NIN for many years, this gives me Broken-era vibes, and I love it. Great work Greg. I see people mentioning The Black Queen, which I have yet to listen to. Greg’s solo album is amazing work, though, very happy to have found this.
