What a beautiful evening to be in amongst our cows, sheep, goats and guardian dogs. It's hard to beat an evening in lush tall green grass being consumed by our sheep, goats and cows. The guardian dogs have become accustomed to our cow mob and now ignore them. If there is something more relaxing than watching happy healthy animals eat lush green forage, I don't know what it would be!
Check out our website for our latest beautiful 4-year-old South Poll bull: greenpasturesfa...

Greg you really have ruined me. I have nothing to do with cattle but I love and watch your channel all the time. But now when I drive around and see cattle milling around on golf course putting green length grass. I just shake my head. Well sometimes I'll lecture whoever is in the car to listen.

Nothing I like better than listening to you talk and the cattle munch in the background. Great news to hear that Jason Kelsi is getting in into the cattle business. The more high profile folks you can attract makes it that much harder for these crackpots to get this weird legislation passed. Aren't you going to have to get another mobile home for intern housing. You can put it behind the existing one, connect them together and put the kitchen and dining area in that middle connection. All good news and fantastic grass for winter stockpile. You going to bring one or two interns on this winter? My best to you, Jan and Issac. re t

I have watched quite a few of your lovely videos , but i had not appreciated that you used your browsers ( sheep n goats ) behind your lovely Red Cattle to control the brush species. Every day is a learning day. Are your cattle a distinct breed yet ???😊

Greg's *Macho Bulls* are just a term he coined for the bulls that he breeds each year that best exhibit the size, weight, conformation, hair coat, slickness, testicle size, gut size, etc. for his idea of what the perfect South Poll cow should be. Of the all of the bulls born in any given year, only a few merit being labeled as a *Macho Bull.* And, they command a premium price when sold as breeding stock to improve another farmer's herd.

It's just beautiful seeing all this grass sucking in carbon and putting it in the ground where it belongs. I'm sure the cows have provided the necessary fertilizer to make your grass explode with new growth when the rain finally came before the winter. I've now been learning about regenerative agriculture for about four years. It is gratifying to me that it's becoming more and more popular, thanks to people like you. Plus, we can support it by always buying grass-fed meats in the store or getting it from a local ranch. I just wish I could get locally-grown lamb. Nothing against New Zealand, but it's a helluva long way from California! Does no one in California or the West raise sheep? Sheesh!

@@tedbastwock3810 Don't be silly. No one is suggesting we have NO carbon in the air, which would be impossible anyway since we and all the other animals tend to breathe it out every time we take a breath. The point is to take out the EXCESS carbon, as well as the excess water and methane, which are causing the climate catastrophe we've been experiencing in so many places around the world. Regenerative agriculture sucks carbon back into the soil where it once was. It is becoming a huge help in this battle, more than cutting down on emissions. Industrial agriculture is probably one of the most damaging practices we have engaged in. It needs to stop.
@wendyscott8425

@@tedbastwock3810 I think as more and more people get into regenerative ag, they'll spread the message. No one who knows anything about industrial ag and their gross feedlots and all the inputs they need that suck the profits out of their pockets can be happy with the current situation. Because of things like KZfaq videos showing a better way, a way that actually makes a living for the ranchers, the idea can't help but spread. Also, I'm hoping Congress might pass a Farm Bill that includes help for those who want to get started from scratch or who want to transform their operations. Look at all the people who come to Greg Judy's seminars. It's happening all over the world, the soil is improving, and we have a real chance of turning things around, all while making better money for the ranchers. Talk about a win-win!

Thanks for the video! It looks beautiful there! We got 1.5” of rain this week. The ground is softer but I still to water some of the post that were on steeper parts of the hill. The last area to put post is in a wooden fence line. I’m planning to cut the junk trees down boxelder and stay away 6”-12” from the bigger trees. Is that far enough away from them? This tree line has a lot Osage orange trees in it.
