The difference between Gregory Peck and other actors is that he has a humility and carries an air of quiet dignity about him. It is refreshing to hear an actor of low ego and dedicated professionalism. Quite different to 'celebrities' today.

The main difference between The Omen and Exorcist/Rosemary’s Baby is that the latter were based on novels while Omen was an entirely original screenplay and idea, which makes it even more impressive considering how iconic it is, and how it brought the number of the beast (666) and Antichrist into mainstream popular culture.

All great films Rosemary's baby love it. The Exorcist just watched 50th anniversary still so scary. The Omen always loves it probably held up the worst of the 3 they made too many sequels that can taint the original when they are not that great.

He shook all the kids Hands of the kids that greeted him. That same summer, Walter Koenig ( Star Treks original Chekhov) visited He performed a monologue from Shakespeare's ( Richards III) That was a wonderful summer.... probably the best.

If I had to choose words to describe Gregory Peck, aside from naturally talented, they would be magnificent, composed, and reserved. Peck was authentic both on the screen and in real life. Pertaining to his role in 'The Omen', one of my favourite aspects of the film is the interplay he shares with underrated British actor David Warner. This movie, and 'Cross of Iron', made me a David Warner fan for life. Many have observed how well he holds his own on the screen in his scenes with the veteran Hollywood legend, and the chemistry between the two actors is outstanding.

Peck was a breed of actor we rarely, if ever see these days. He spoke elegantly, calm demeanor, carrying no ego, and could act his way pretty much around any film you could put in front of him. Listening to him here, like listening to an old friend you've known for years, and he's telling you stories.

I've met his The Omen co-star, the late *David Warner* a few times, who kept referring to him as "The great man." He told me some stories about Gregory Peck's kindness and his encouragement. David also told me how he had been spoken to in a derogatory fashion one day on set, by some suite. He said Gregory reprimanded that person for their attitude, demanding David was given an apology.

My family and i were invited to a dinner when staying at a resort in Fiji during the 70's. Gregory Peck was filming The Dove. I was a kid at the time but clearly remember being introduced to Mr Peck on entering the restaurant. My mum fainted! She woke up on a couch and Mr Peck was holding her hand and sitting over her. She passed out again! Sooo funny...

According to some sources, the part played by Peck was offered to many other actors. I think Mr. Peck was perfect as Thorn. Goldsmith's score added superbly to the tension and impending dread. Remick was fabulous and Whitelaw gorgeously wicked.

LOVE the "The Omen Trilogy". One of my favorite Trilogies, yes I said TRILOGY. The powerhouse scores composed by Jerry Goldsmith (his only Oscar win, always partial to his score to "Damien: Omen II" out of the three scores). Orchestrated by Arthur Morton. Conducted by Lionel Newman. Performed by The National Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus.

Interesting that Peck looks at it as make believe and just part of show business. Of course it was entertainment but perhaps at the time he was unaware of how profound and prophetic the movie trilogy is. Search for 'Curse of The Omen' on KZfaq. The two subsequent movies are equally as chilling.

Heston doing Ben Hur and Peck to kill a mocking bird shows how versatile they were. Modern horror kinda of a joke. I did like the 2024 1st Omen. Interesting, I found it.

Gregory Peck, certainly not today's actor. You can tell he knew his stuff and to also remember scenes and recite the same lines he did for the movie. I'm sure no actor, even that a hole Tom Cruise couldn't do that if he tried, have the exact scene and lines in an interview after the movie was made.

The Omen and Omen 2 are both better than the Exorcist, the Exorcist gets too silly and some of the dialogue is stupid, The Omen has a rich cast, not just outstanding Gregory Peck but all the British character actors too and more authentic. Omens are among the best horrors ever, along with The Shining.
