I’m never going to build this kit but what a joy to watch. Thanks for your continued inspiration Greg

Proof that skills can be applied to any subject matter. Excellent course in problem-solving and scratch building! Thank you. 👌

Intense build with a great result. Seemed like you had to add lots of supplies/materials that the kit didn't provide. For a high end kit that was a let down. Same goes for the instructions' inconsistencies. Superb perseverance.

I wasn’t expecting a ship catapult to be an interesting kit but it’s come up a treat. Very nice. And yes it needs an Arado float plane on top.

You need a medal for your perseverance, Greg. The model itself is more complex (build wise) than the1/32 scale aircraft it's intended for. Terrific job all round and a beautiful final reveal.

I enjoy watching your videos, because to me you are a real old school modeller - in it' s best sense. The way you surpass problems with scratchbuilds, reminds me of those glory days of "Military Modelling" issues, where they gave you information and advice to all aspects of the hobby. Your videos are a little bit like that. The smell of Humbrol-enamels comes to my mind... one last pledge though - the Arado is a must now, thank you mate.

Crikey, Greg! You are a better man than I. I wouldn't have the patience for something like this. You did a stellar job on it... you should be well pleased.

This why I watch artists build models….after about 5 minutes of fiddling around with pieces that don’t fit properly, I would have been frustrated enough to just throw the thing away! Brilliant job, and thanks for sharing.

An excellent presentation. No fancy music, just a clear explanation of whats happening!! Fantastic.

Why dos the phrase "Silk Purse from a sows ears " spring to mind for this build, excellent work as always

It is fascinating watching your processes. It's the main reason I watch all your videos. I'm 75 and the steady hands and fine motor control are sadly eroded now. I still do a bit of model building but not at your level. I truly admire your skill and your skillful commentary.

Cool build, I don't think I'd want to be the person operating that given the close proximity to an aircraft sitting there at full throttle. 😉

Nice build. have done the same kit, and I must say I didn't find anywhere near the issues you had. I will agree about the hand rails though. Mine has the Revell 1/32 Arado AR 196 float plane on it, and it looks great (I wish I could post a photo on here). I would note that HPH recommends weighting the base, and if you plan to put the aircraft on it, it is needed. HPH has a great range of unusual subjects, and I would encourage people to browse their catalog. Being multi media resin kits, they are not for beginners though, and they are not cheap either. My next build is their 1/32 Catalina cutaway kit, it's on my shelf waiting for me......

Finally! Now if they would do a 1/48 scale too. I got to find one of these.

Very impressive build. Not something I would have thought doing for a second, but makes up into a super model (with a great deal of effort on your part.)

Greg, that tested your patience from start to finish! I enjoy listening to your thoughts about how to bring the best out of the kits you do and I am amazed by the confidence you have in mixing your own colours and that's where I struggle to keep up with you.
