About using logistics pipes for auto crafting. They are fun to use and it might take along time to get to AE anyway so it could help you get there faster and at that point you would replace the logistics pipes with AE. And the logistics pipes would make you more lazy right ;) which is how you said you should play. More automation is better.

So in this pack ender i/o has insulated and non-insulated redstone conduits. The non-insulated ones, which you made, act like regular redstone but in conduit form that will transmit a redstone signal without loss over the length. The insulated ones have an interface just like the other conduits do so you can control what block they will connect to, they also have channels. Also if you want to isolate a block from redstone you want to use a transparent block that won't transmit a redstone signal, like clear glass, your concrete blocks will carry a redstone signal. And YETA is short for Yet Another Wrench and pronounced like yet another but without the nother. P.s. you could have skipped all the redstone bs by just using a second forge hammer to make the sand.

EnderIO RS conduit is known to be buggy in interaction not vanilla or EIO. you may use OpenBlocks RS wire instead, it is made with redalloywire shapeless last I locked at it.

I think the strong/weak signal with soldering the GT machines may just control whether or not the signal travels into the adjacent block, and maybe has nothing to do with the strength (0-15) of the signal. This gets confusing with things like the EnderIO redstone conduit (the insulated kind) having a checkbox setting on the connections called "Strong Signal" which is supposed to make it carry a strength 15 signal all the time. Different mods using the same terminology to do different things.

In my very limited understanding of vanilla redstone, strong signal can transfer to and penetrate blocks and weak can't. Most of the time I'm using EIO redstone conduits, but primarily their insulated version, which for some reason needs both insert and extract ticked to connect to a block

*eagerly watches for your soluion* I had a very similar issue with a Large Turbine going into a EV 16 battery buffer, I couldnt get a proper RS reading of the buffer block
