@@philiipromero6153 In The Corps, in the early 90's, the training grenades we used usually didn't have the little screw in firecracker like little snap bang. We just got used to throwing the weight, worked on accuracy, & how they rolled upon hitting the ground. The little screw in bang device was still about the same time as a genuine live grenade, & it wouldn't have created enough concussion to blow up a pile of pumpkins. So I have no idea what your talking about & am lead to believe neither do you, & I'm sick of "liars" who create content that is not accurate/true. Don't say it's a real grenade if it's not. A real grenade, if I remember correctly has a 4-5 second fuse, 5 meter lethality radius, 15 meter casualty radius, shrapnel can reach out to supposedly 200 meters likely minimal energy left. We threw live grenades from behind a concrete wall into a grenade pit. I almost threw mine out of the pit. You threw & as you followed through you put yourself to the ground face down, hands beneath you. After we threw our one grenade, we would sit behind a barrier & under a tin covered lean to on bleachers & hear a few pieces of shrapnel from time to time hitting the roof.

I have serious doubts. As a Marine, I have been around a fair number of grenades. Transparency: I took up the contract of another poolee, ended up Reserve. They never did utilize the months of training they gave me for anything more useful than wasting valuable ammunition on little green me (training targets). Anyway! Grenades. Unless this is a heavily modified type of grenade, new since my EAS of 2013, or a special one for the video, I call bull. 3 to 5 seconds delay. He was less than halfway back to the camera, at the pace he was moving. 5m kill radius, 15m wound radius. The camera is only juuuust far enough away to avoid potential injury. Most Marines and even guys that didn't make it all the way through boot will be able to attest to this one: Pendleton. Grenade range. Big tower with a few little slit windows of ballistic glass. Easily 75 feet from the absolute closest the grenades will be detonating. That glass was so scratched and gouged by shrapnel that it was a hazy view at best. Pumpkin as a blast shield? No PPE, no urgency, no real danger. I have doubts.
@rickbase8338 ай бұрын
I'm with you on this one. The urgency to move away was not there....and no one would risk the catching shrapnel for a youtube shirt. Has to be a modded nade.

At Fort Benning on the grenade range they had foxhole baricades to duck down after throwing the grenades. Several meters behind the throwing stations was the waiting area that had bleachers inside a metal building with a few small bulletproof windows. At one point while sitting on the bleachers we heard an extra loud explosion and the building was hit by tons of scrapnel. Come to find out a recruit had pulled the pin and dropped the grenade at his feet, lucky for him the trainer immediately grabbed him and dove over the baricade saving both their lives. No way in hell that was a real grenade in those pumpkins!

One time a friend a Ft. Hood said that they were hiding a bottle of Jim Beam in their room, and they decided on sticking it in the dropped ceiling. When they moved aside the tile they saw a grenade with its spoon held in place only by scotch tape. That tape would dry rot before too long, and it would pop the spoon and detonate the bomb. My friend said he and a couple of the other guys took the grenade out into the country and detonated it.This occurred in the year 1980. It's an example of what you get when the military becomes the last option for kids unable to find a job, and you don't pay them very well.

Oh yes! I keep my M67’s in my cutlery drawer right next to my kitchen-Glock! That’s why the Glock is mostly plastic; so you can run it through the dishwasher! You all didn’t know that?? It says “Dishwasher safe” right on the gun! ( It doesn’t). I actually do have a hidden gun in my kitchen, but I have hidden guns all over my house, so the kitchen, where I spend quite a bit of my time, is no big deal. I don’t have any grenades hidden in my house, though… I feel like that’s kinda overkill in the house. I keep my grenades in my shop and garage, like most other normal Americans do.
