Series so far is full of 70s giant robot anime tropes Giant robot comes out the pool, rocket punches, ludicrous weapons activated by shouting the weapon names, unnecessarily convoluted transformation sequences. This series is going to be great!

As a big fan of the original UFO Robot Grendizer I'm still prefer it But despite some things like the minor characters design and the movements and feeling it was a bit rushed after Vega's attack , it was a very good 1st episode and now waiting for more Now that we heard the space thunder shout , I'm waiting for screw crusher punch , double harcken & my favorite weapon , hand beam

Z will be rebuilt. The trailer showed a more advanced version of the Black Iron Castle, meaning it gets upgraded after this episode to fight Saucer Beasts.

@@jamesmcdavid1673 I've seen some leaks circulating but take this with a grain of salt. The upgraded Z will be compatible with the dizer's spazers. Which is why in the op you can see sayaka being the pilot of Dizer's ufospacer instead of Koji in the 70s anime. But whether Z will have a new design is still unknown.
