I am a big Mamas and Papas fan since the 60’s, but Angelina realized that the words are really melancholy and you can feel the longing to be back in the warmer California climate, from wherever this person is, obviously a colder, gray, winter day. She gives new meaning to the song, and I love it.

Well said. She is still a child and even though she was raised in a wealthy lifestyle, she still has that innocence and compassion that we saw as a small child.

I think Angelina's competition days are over; we won't see her competing again. Why should she? I can see her now as a guest star they bring on during the final show of AGT, The Voice, etc. If her relationship with NBC is not in a bad place, I could see her appearing as a guest star on the closing of this season's The Voice. And I think she has made it clear that she is in charge of her recording and performance future. That aside, her rendition of this classic song is simply magnificent! Slow the tempo, change the melody, make it acoustic, and voila! A MASTERPIECE!! And when you refer to her potential, it's hard to imagine anything better than this. She was already fantastic at 7, 8, 9, etc,, and is still fantastic today. If she didn't change any from what she is now, she's still a superstar. Good to see you reacting to Angelina again, GreyWolf. I always have to point out on this one.... The Mamas and The Papas posted this cover on there Instagram when they saw it. That's always the highest form of praise to get positive feedback from the original artist. And even more amazing, this has happened to Angelina many times! ...and I imagine it would happen even more if more of the artists she covers were still alive ;) You do still have a lot more to hear from Angelina. I always like your Angelina reactions, looking forward to many more. :)

Thank you for your important comments on her innocence. You are nailing that comment. Luckily, she has an amazing family to protect her for as long as it takes. And she appreciate it very much as well, as you can hear in her own song, Shield. She wrote and made that herself, and the shield is referring to her mum and family. The guitarist is Ivan Mendez. The other guitarist we often see Angelina with is Egil Clausen. Both are great and help Angelina making these awesome performances.

Borger Borgerson - Agreed. recent years have shown that the word "accompanist" is sadly misunderstood - playing in a supportive manner turns instead to a competition - it seems like all the musicians associated with Angelina know what their job really is and do it extremely well. Maybe that has to do with her grandmother and Angelina doing the arrangements. And Momma standing by with a baseball bat.

Richard Hobbs - Have you seen Momma? She did an interview once and to say she is protective is an understatement. Maybe not a baseball bat though, Europeans don't play that but a well-honed Viking sword at least.

I really enjoy your Angelina reactions as they are always on point. She always changes a song to make it her own, but sometimes she changes it so much it becomes a "new" song. This song, along with her Bohemian Rhapsody & Goodbye Yellow Brick Road are prime examples. There are literally 100's of classic, iconic songs in the dustbins of music history waiting for Angelina to give them a facelift. I can't wait to hear her take on them! I would love to see your take on her cover of Queen's The Show Must Go On. It is stunning & shows her belting power where she belts out the last note for 10 straight seconds even after the music ends. MIND EXPLODING RENDITION!!!

Thank you for another reaction to Angelina. Fortunately, Angelina has a very strong and determined support team of Sara Astar, her mother, Mery Zamani, her maternal grandmother, and Michael Astar, her maternal uncle and Manager. Just after Angelina was declared the winner of NGT, her mother was interviewed and made it abundantly clear to all who were listening that she was determined Angelina would live as normal a life as possible, with education a primary factor. The "Team" have kept to this since then and it is to Angelina's credit that she has the maturity and wisdom to accept that the path they have charted for her is the correct one. And from the "Team's" point of view, I feel they had the awareness necessary of Angelina's determination that she has been included in their discussion on her career right from the beginning,.

Her parents will not let her sign a contract until they know she’s ready for it and she has to be completely done with school and over the age of 18 this I know I followed this little girl from when she was little until now I love her I love the innocence of her I promise you I think that she is reincarnated with all my being love her love her love her don’t let anybody discourage you from what you say about her because you were spot on love the way that you do your stuff you’re awesome and I live in Mississippi in the United States

@@stephenlubin3342 He is an Oil Engineer and spends a lot of time overseas. If you watch Angelina's performance of "Gloomy Sunday" at Norway's Got Talent, and stop the video at 3.50. the gentleman pictured is, I think, Angelina's father.

@Concerned Citizen You make some serious assertions in that comment. Please provide your proof that Angelina's words "never regret what I do'" are not another form of the phrase she uses in "Shield" where it is the opinion of many that she was asking her family to forgive her for the burdens they have shouldered to support her ambition. You go further and state that her father abandoned the family. This could be considered libel and I hope that you can prove what you wrote.

"He who waits for something good, does not wait in vain" is an old saying, and so true. A few weeks in waiting, makes it even a whole lot better as you show up reacting to Angelina again. And this performance! No wonder that " The mamas and the Papas" has given their highly praise to Angelinas version of the song. Thank you so much for this. Its for shure one of my top favorits from Angelina. I am allways stunned at what she is abel to make of such an classic and even iconic song of the 60s. Thank you for this, and I agree with you all the way about the greatness of Angelinas personality and wonderfull musical abilities. As we waits for her next move (new album perheps) it is so great to follow all the reactors videos, and not the least, your great reactions to the young and super talented star Angelina. great reaction.... I sometimes will go through songs just listening to the instruments more than what the lyrics are saying. With Angelina I find myself paying a lot more attention to the lyrics :)

I used to feel the same way. I didn't pay much attention to the lyrics as they got in the way of the instruments, IMO. That is until I heard Angelina's orchestral voice, one of the most beautiful instruments on earth. Now all I do is listen to her voice with the instruments toned down to a soft acoustic guitar of piano, laying down the skeleton of the song while Angelina adds the meat on the bone with all her beautiful vocal ornaments.

Great spotting and commenting on the innocence (that's why I love your reactions, right on the spot like a Shaman). She brings a deep and fresh 60's spirit of expression, which is unique and delicate. The industry can turn her into a plastic bimbo to their benefit and to everyone's loss. I think her family is well aware of the dangers and are protective of their flower. As long as she sings barefoot she is in touch with the earth.

Her team; Mother, Grandmother, Uncle, seem to have theirs and her feet very firmly planted on the ground. To be honest, I don't envy them having to tread a very narrow path, between keeping her a young teenager and the obvious pressure for her to become a hugely in-demand international star. So far, they have done a great job and it would seem that Angelina is also happy, which let's face it, is the most important thing.

It is a shirt with Donald Duck.....probably quite retro, seems like the sailor cap he is wearing was from a cartoon from way before I was born (70 plus). I did love the original,,Mama Cass had a way with songs, for sure. It will be a real regret not seeing where this Angelina goes in her career...but right now is fabulous enough!

I just heard Angelina sing on AGT on KZfaq. From the first 2 seconds I was mesmerized and addicted to listening to all her KZfaq posts. I'm an artist, I connect to certain things deeply and emotionally, like most of the first impressions I have seen online the emotional reactions from voice teachers, professionals and father daughter youtubers . Virtual emotional Sharing the experience is way cool. When asked what I thought, speechless-breathless would be a decent answer. One small realisation , although she has a passionate deep soul thriving within her and a voice that could melt gold on a cold day, she is 13. And she should be whatever age she is, like Grey wolf said insinuated ...Lets keep people like Simon Cowell and the industry as far away from her as needed!!!!!! Let her be her own artist loving what she apparently does. The point is that she hasn't had the real life experience of some song's life experiences that brought the original artists to create them. This is not a cut in any way. I'm 69 and I have fallen in love with her purity and expression, similar to the singer songwriters of the 60's and 70's. WOW she is so cool! Peace

Regarding your comments about the music industry, her original composition, Shield lyrics talk about the fact that she wants to be shielded from those influences. It is written for her mom and dad who should shield her from evil so to speak.

i enjoyed it, and i too is one man in love with wolves and loves Angelina Jordan, i am 53. Collecting old 45 rpm records, have many, and lost many over time, but this child is coming on, and when she hits the big circuits she, is already a huge fan throughout the world, her innocence and beauty, the every beat of the song in her voice is captured and makes it her own, beautiful, you vampires out their, better treat her straight.

You are right about Angel-ina Jordan and Ivan Mendez. They are great when perform together. Ivan makes his guitar transmit the feelings at the touch of his fingers complementing ANGEL-ina's excellent, beautiful unique voice. No doubt She is the best singer in the world and Ivan is the perfect guitarist for her.

Well...... cold and cold. The worrying reality is that this has been the warmest winter in Norway - ever - since the temperature measurements started 120 years ago. Winter - as we are used to - is about to disappear. Angelina's voice is warming to listen to, but I don't think that she is the reason for global warming.

O, yes . Here last week it was down between minus 19 - 22 degrees for several days. It's cold enough for me. Today it was minus 7 and now in the shade it is still minus 1.5 degrees. In addition, there are plenty of snow, so in the solar wall it is just now Easter weather 😁❄️🗻.

"I'm Still Holding Out For You" is a rare gem. It's a leaked demo of a song and it's said Angelina will never sing this song again since it covers suicide and the writer didn't want to change the lyrics for Angelina. In one of her earlier videos, her mom was being interviewed about what she expected for her daughter, and her mom said the most important thing was to let her enjoy her childhood and innocence. She said that her talent would always be there so there was no need to rush her along. I thought "what a relief!" Her mom has her daughters best interest at heart and I know she wont sell her out. She is very protective of her daughter and as she should be, for the music industry is full of horrible people that like voultures, would devour anything they could get their hands on.

The point I want to make is depending on the situation physical contact is not always positive. Angelina won't have a problem because she has so much love and support surrounding her.

And I also agree that Angelina won't have a problem because of the love and support around her, but also because of her well-developed sense of self, as well as her physical stature. At over 183 cm., she just doesn't fit the profile of what most predators seek out. Angelina may be a musical genius, but she's also a very intelligent young lady with finely-tuned instincts. Coupled with her experiences of travelling alll over the world and having lived in different cultures, I think we can be optimistic about her future possibilities, in addition to her safety and security, as she approaches womanhood.

i hope she never enters any competition any more , because she is now well known around the world and lets be honest there is nobody to compete with, yes there are great singers and performers and they should compete , but souls and angels can only be for us to experience it give us pure wisdom and joy , being selfish i pray she will give us more then 27 years
