True story. My mum passed away 6 years ago last month due to complications arising during routine chemo treatment. I’ve only just started seeing a psychologist about how to properly deal with her loss. Aside from anti depressants, which help mask my deep sadness, nothing seems to really show any tangible improvements. There are no programs down the south of Adelaide to talk about how I feel to people who have experienced similar loss. I really don’t know what to do. I tell my wife that I’m fine, so as to not worry her. Until just now, I thought I was alone. I never thought my favourite cartoon character would feel any emotions except for joy. I never thought Peter Hellier would think that counselling is cool. This video. This simple video on grief has given me new hope. Thank you Aunty Donna boys. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
