The grandkids were hands on in the kitchen this year! I think that was my favorite part of Thanksgiving, everybody working together, laughing and telling stories while preparing the special meal.
Original Murdick's Fudge was also a big part of our celebration. We enjoyed gathering around our kitchen island and everybody slicing off a piece of their favorite flavor of fudge. This was a really nice video Jennifer. My extended family is not what it used to be. My father made some really poor choices a few years ago. We don't see him much anymore. It's been really hard. Your video makes me want to show up that much more for my kids and make the holidays better for them. My father let us down, but that doesn't have to be the end of our story. You have a wonderful family.

You'll have to make a trip to Mackinac Island someday. It's a unique place, no motorized vehicles, only horses and carriages and bicycles and walking, of course. Plus, you can visit Murdick's in person! Looks like you had a great Thanksgiving.

I can bet that fudge is one of the best 1887 recipes don't mess around. I make Toblerone fudge every year for Christmas everyone loves it. It is so so good to see Aunt Linda not on oxygen all the time. She seemed more like herself

I just had 4 of my grandkids this last weekend and we made a Thanksgiving feast. They are aged 11, 9, 5, and 4 and they all helped cook our meal. My 5 year old granddaughter ate both drumsticks and 3 slices of white meat plus the fixins. It was heaven on earth. Thank you for sharing your family with us.

Thanksgiving is such a meaningful holiday to spent with your loved ones! ♥️We don't celebrate it here in germany unfortunately. But your videos sure gives me the feeling of being there and celebrating with your family! Such happy souls and hearts you and your family have!

Almost 30 years ago I lived in Cheboygan, MI and worked in Mackinaw City, which is about 20 minutes north of Cheboygan. I loved watching them make the fudge in the store windows as I walked in front of them. I used to take a ferry to Mackinac Island often and was even a bridesmaid in a wedding on the island. It is such a beautiful place to visit. Now, I want to go for a visit and get some fudge!

I love Murdicks! I love in Southern Michigan and go up to the island a few times a year. Was just there at the end of October for a race. Love love love their fudge.

I just love seeing the girls making rolls with you! I really wish I had spent more time in the kitchen with my grandmother, but when cousins got together we just went off playing!
