I just wander a 100 years from now what size John Deere equipment they will have most of us will be gone then but our children will see some heck of machines

I know JD changed to the new filter and it fits but the issue with the one i delt with is the stud you turn the filter on is not long enough to hold the filter under pressure. I would check to make sure you don't need to change the stud along with the new filter.

i will not buy oem filters unless they are made in usa if not i buy baldwin kearney nebr i like the way you take care of you,re equiptment it pays all parts are outrageouslove seeing that old ford tractor

My Dad worked on an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico. They used “ospho” to kill rust on the rigs. I use it on some of my projects and it works. Let it dry then prime and paint.

In your back gate there’s two sensors there notorious for getting a little piece of cotton or trash on them and they will not work. I would recommend checking those out.

Make sure you check your variable fan drive pulley! Definitely check it often as you can. Have 3 buddies loose engines because of it. Im sure you know and heard. Wish many blessings to you and your family this harvest season

It’s a ‘10 model. It has a fixed pulley. Went to variable speed in ‘12 I believe. One of the reasons I bought this one

Matt make sure you check your variable fan drive pully.Make sure it's greesed or it could cause serious engine damage.

Yea just checking I saw that greese container mounted next to the accumulator I thought it was a 2012 model.We also had problems with an 8345R with that variable fan.Just bad engineering on Deere's part .

It’s too late to help you this time but if you run into rust on metal, tractors, combines, pickers, trucks or automotive, go to NAPA store and pick up their rust inhibitor paint. All you do is knock the loose rust off and apply the inhibitor with a brush. Let it dry and paint over it with your preferred color paint. The rust inhibitor will be there long after we are gone. Just don’t get it on your skin because it takes forever to come off.
