Grigor Dimitrov US Open 2019 title chances have dramatically increased as he finds himself in the quarter finals of the championships facing his childhood idol Roger Federer. Dimitrov has struggled with injuries this year which caused him to either withdraw or miss many events altogether so it is encouraging to see him finding some form again.

Grigors movement is more like Djokovic though his strokes are like Roger. His slice can occasionally float and his second serve was a weakness prior to this year's open but he has won the highest % of second serves amongst all players in this tournament. But he has all the shots and athleticism and it's great to see he is performing to his potential.

@Love Tennis when you have two pros playing you should put both names in the title and description. 1st reason: If you don't, it makes it look like you are disrespecting the opponent (which I am 100% sure you don't) 2nd reason: It might bring you more traffic from people searching David Goffen's practice sessions.

According to Roger Federer his physical condition was fine, and he lost fair and square. It takes a lot of honour to be able to say that after a loss, something you dont have @Peppino Acrivulis

Did it occur to you Federers back pain got worsebecause of grigors level of play? Federer was fit enough to play and lead by 2 sets to 1. Grigor made it a physical match and broke downs Federers game. What do you think athletes do?
