Great video Dski. The Grill Grates are worth every penny and you do a great job showing why here. Besides the fabulous marks, they even out heat and eliminate flareups. Every steak I've grilled using them since I bought my first set a year ago has been better than every steak I grilled before.

How long after the 4 minutes on grill grates did you indirect the steaks? Your videos are awesome!!!

RZR Ron Production's About 5 minutes for medium and 7 for medium well. Ultimately if you use a quick read thermometer you can pull the steaks exact at the internal temperature of your choice. Hope this helps.

@DskiGrillz
@DskiGrillz 3 жыл бұрын
If I remember correctly I saw an option for engraving when I purchased the knives of of Amazon. As for the steaks the internal temperature was between 140 to 155. Thanks for checking out the video.

What do you think of front sear vs reverse sear?
@DskiGrillz
@DskiGrillz 4 жыл бұрын
enyceofnyc I think both methods are good. I do know that many you tubers swear by the reverse sear method.

Yep. Just throwing your money away at those high end steak houses. Yours looked incredible man. I would rather have my steak on my weber kettle and grillgrates than spend $70 for one that is just not as good!

Say Brotha, I'm looking to sear some steaks on my new Weber® Original™ Kettle Premium 22'' grill, AGAIN LOL?,.. I Will be using the Grillgrates® next time, (I Just ordered some) What's the proper steps for SEARING & To achieve that MEDIUM (Some pink) Steak doneness?. That's what I'm looking For, (Yummy,.Mmmmm, Mmm)!! Can you tell me the normal cook time for, lets say 1inch to 1-1/4 thick T-Bones? (Promise me you won't LAUGH or post this all over The Net? JK lol) ANYWAY, I Tried to cook some, but they,.... Ummm,...Umm, (This is embarrassing), They came out SOME WHAT, HARD AND DRY?? What did I Do Wrong? I had a Direct & Indirect cooking zones, Bottom Damper OPEN (FULL), Lid TOP Damper 3/4 to (FULL)..Please Help a brotha out. Thanks! BTW Just Subbed .Whats the name of that Awesome intro music?!!

No laughing, i promise. The key is to get the grill up to around 450-500 degrees with your coals being banked on one side. The best way to achieve these temperatures is by using a full chimney of lite charcoal and pour on top of very few unlit charcoal. Open the bottom damper all the way as well as the top damper. Spray your grill grates with cooking spray and put them directly over the hot coals. The grill will reach 450-500 very quickly. Remember, once you reach this temperature, the surface of the grill grates is 150 degrees hotter, you are now ready to start searing your steaks. Sear on each side for about 90 seconds, with the lid closed then move the steaks to the indirect side and adjust your bottom damper to 1/4 open as well as your top vent. After about 10 minutes using a digital thermometer to check the internal temps of your steak. You are looking for 145 to 150 for a good medium. Follow these steps and you will be the steak master! Let me know how it turns out and thanks for checking out the video.

@@DskiGrillz Thanks Broths, What about Infrared Thermometers?,.. Which do you prefer just for general BBQ'n not competition, to test the HEAT TEMP ON THE GRATES ETC. I Have and Internal Digital one for my Meats (Just Bought It LOL) I Will use on my next Cookout next week. and I Would Like to Have an Infrared Thermometer & also a PROBE Thermometer as well, what do you recommend?
@DskiGrillz
@DskiGrillz 3 жыл бұрын
@@lovebbqnoles367 I don’t think you need an infrared thermometer, just get the maverick xr50 and you will have all the temp controls you need with the ability to check the grill temp along with three other meats at the same time.
