Love the FX on the Battle Report. Small thing but really increases immersion. Can't wait for more, maybe even some Age of Fantasy down the road

I really really like how you present the battle report. It goes quickly and avoids all the dice unless there is a crazy roll. Seems like so many other ones I've watched, half the vid is watching the dice play out and it takes away from the pacing. Well done. Looking forward to more!

Doing a second comment (for the algorithm!) with my thoughts and experiences. For reference I'm pretty new but I'm in a tournament and am two rounds in, winning handily so far though I'm not liking the Robot Legions list I'm up against next. I don't trust the Nomads or Stalkers at freaking all. Every time I throw them up against anything they flop immediately and vaporize the second anything looks at them funny. To be fair, Nomads with the fumigators are awesome, as you can basically just treat them as a 10 Tough poison flamer unit which is pretty nice, and it's very possible I have awful luck with Stalkers, but they haven't done much for me. Trackers are hilarious for taking out low tough leadership or annoying weapon specialists. They can also be a nice pop against an injured tank or big monster to shove it over that morale edge. My trackers almost always at least spook my opponent into thinking a little harder about how they move around. Vultures and Elites are my bread and butter with some caveats. Elites with an Elite Veteran that has Prowl are a nightmare against armor heavy armies with a missile launcher, bonus points if they have a doubled unit. Vultures with all claw gauntlets are horrific defense units; you give a soft target a sat-pack and when they're threatened you drop vultures and laugh. it's hilarious. The beasts are my bread and butter without any caveats. Gunners I hate running the machineguns on because they almost never hit more than three shots a turn anyway. I run them with snipers so I can focus specific units, remove special weapons at leaders better. The dakka just hasn't worked for me with that 5+. Riders however are beautiful. I throw hunting hooks on all of them and am currently running two units of exactly that in my tourney list. They've consistently been my best performers every game next to my great beast. Throw in some hounds to help herd enemies around a bit and you've got some horrific mobility. The great beast is awesome. The impact combined with its natural attacks makes it a monster with that tough(12). My lone beastie in my tourney list has taken down tanks and frickin' DAO gundams like nothing. The guns...could give or take. If you do take one I'd say the spear launcher, because betting on a 4+ for deadly will not work out when you want it to, ever, but having a gun is nice on occasion. Debatable if it's worth the points. The fact that they didn't give us a Vulture specific leader annoys the endless hell out of me. It's wasted points when the vet has Relentless and no ranged weapon at all. Would love for them to give us a Furious option to throw into our elite melee squad...you know, in the faction that has a melee buff across the board and lots of mobility to get into melee...just saying, the "elites" being ranged specialists doesn't make sense...okay I'll stop whining now. EDIT: that battle report is the best case scenario. Shock and awe on the charge and headbang hard until you reach the other end of the board. I'm glad you came to the same conclusion as me with the beast gunners, though. Those machineguns just don't do much. Personal thoughts: I feel like the beast gunners and riders could both do for a quality upgrade to 4+ but I'm obviously biased so :P grain of salt. EDIT OF THE EDIT: the HyperX Solocast mic is pretty nice if you want an upgrade and something fairly cheap. I picked one up and it's been a trooper o7

I enjoyed watching! Not a lot of Jackal content out there and this was good. I think you are missing out on the strength of slapping a Veteran attached to the stalkers with "Hidden Route" in conjunction with some beacons to pounce almost immediately.

Jackals are my 'having fun army' - not as reliable as Robot Legions, but it is fun hurling a pack of sentient doggos at the enemy.

Indirect isnt just for hiding your models, its also for hitting enemy models that are hiding away.

I can say that as a true newbie to opr/40k, unfortunately this video was not very helpful. I'm sure if I actually already knew what I was doing I'd get more out of this.
