Hi! Love this channel and content! My 11th great grandmother was a woman named Winifred Holman who was accused of witchcraft in Cambridge 30 years before the Salem trials along with her daughter Mary. They actually flipped the script and sued their accusers for defamation which was unheard of in that time and they WON their case and walked free. She also had a daughter named Sarah... centuries later some folks making a little movie called Hocus Pocus found her story and used them as inspiration for their characters the Sanderson sisters. So I am literally the granddaughter of Winifred Sanderson! This was verified to us by the Associated Daughters of Early American Witches, the lineage society that keeps track of the stories of accused women. The creators came to them while doing research back in the day and told us this insanely cool connection. A little bit of a bummer my relatives story was kind of stolen because her real story is SO amazing but I can't help but love that she has in a way been immortalized by such a beloved movie.

this channel has become one of my favs of all time. you both are just so genuinely into the content you put out and it shows in the production value too. Salem is awesome (i grew up in New England). that would have been cool to run into you at this.

I have a cat named "Salem" and I always wanted to take him there and basically walk him around to let him explore and feel the halloween spirit 😊💖

I love fall and Halloween. I was born in Salem, MA but raised in CA, and I still live there. I have been fascinated by the gothic, the occult, the spooky, and witches for most of my life. I intend to visit Salem next year. I also intend to move back to MA someday.

Spent my honeymoon there during the Halloween festivities. We stayed in Swampscott. This was in 1999 where our car rental had no GPS. Had to use sticky notes to find our way back to Swampscot because of the abnormal curved roads. Had the best time ever and those New England accents were awesome. Very friendly people in the Boston area
