Happy to say I had a chance to visit. I was in Portland three years ago. I had a few hours before I had to return my rental car, and suddenly remembered that Portland was where she was buried. I quickly got online and found the name of the cemetery and put it in the GPS. Pretty easy to find. It is in a residential neighborhood on top of a hill. It's close to another bigger cemetery, if I am remembering correctly. But the church and the little cemetery are very sandwiched in with houses. I remember driving past a guy outside in his yard and he gave me a warm smile. I almost got the impression he was used to visitors driving around looking like they are trying to find it....and the reason why. That could be my mind making up stuff though. When you go in there someday, basically just walk a straight line ahead from the gate, to the paved path going through the middle of the cemetery. Her grave is close to that path.

I remember reading where I believe her mother instinctively couldn’t physically let go of her, perhaps holding onto her before the casket was finally closed. Very tragic and disturbing.
