At around 1:08 ; if I’m not mistaken that’s based off of a real life leech. It does that to look around it’s environment Sea cucumbers do a similar thing where they vomit all their organs out to freak out their predators (and I think run away)

I shambled onto youtube after a stupidly grueling workday to find Grim waiting with a Bukkit of Hot Gamer Content tailored to my need for something visually disturbing, mechanically ancient, and endlessly fascinating. I have never felt so seen by the apathetic cosmos. I grinned for the first time all day. And your earnest, low-fi content has done so much to sustain me over the past two years. Long, exhausting workdays can hardly compete when I get home, make dinner, settle on the couch... and find New Goth Gamer Content. It'is like hiding under the blankets from an ugly reality only to hear a comforting voice in the dark, sliding me something odd yet insanely comforting. And Fallout/Ultima x From Beyond/The Void visuals? Color me excited! This game looks like it's going to tick all of my boxes. Thanks for lobbing it onto my radar where it belongs...so I can give it some munny.

I know these guys have a few games under their belt by now, but this one in particular reminds me of the tabletop RPGs Mork-Borg and, more directly, Cy-Borg. Worth looking into if anyone hasn't, they're some fun times.

I'm happy to see Grim sort of "promoting" the music a bit more via telling people which song they're getting a preview of at the end of this video. I hope this represents some new level of confidence in his great music. Also I love the scene where he drops into steam to check things. Top Grim Video Features: funny pace killing to screencaps of mundane activities. I want him to be confident but I want the janky home made quality more than anything.

3:45 It's reassuring to know that I'm not the only one that hates how a lot of game UIs look designed for phones, even when they aren't/don't have mobile ports Also, I get the feeling Grim would really vibe with Mechajammer. It's an isometric CRPG that uses pixel art to depict an authoritarian cyberpunk dystopia with an art style that heavily emphasizes urban decay.

Primordia was a milestone game for me. Not only "Cycles" is hauntingly beautiful music, the conclusion, the epilogue words came in a right place in a very right time for me.

This kickstarter would have really benefitted from a vertical slice demo attached to it. Their stretch goals look awesome, but the project isn't getting nearly the eyes on it that it should because there are no LPs of the demo. Hope they can add the extra stuff as a DLC later.

Reminds me a bit of Fallout 1 which also had parts where it was a bio-mech-horror dungeon crawl RPG. I really hope they get this right (especially the character builds), Gigeresque oldschool RPG sounds exactly my jam.

The creature designs are grimy, mutated, and gross in all the best ways. Good preview for this insane Scifi horror world. I'm excited to back this!
