if you feel you must name your art journal why not keep it simple and call it 'My Art', sometimes naming something forces you to go one way or another, whereas what your doing now is clearly showing your growth and is beautiful. Blessings to you.

You could use that second book to organize herbs/crystals and make on easy flip through based on what a particular herb/crystal does.

Use the 3 ring black binder as a mini recipe book. Keep your favorite food recipes in it. Recipes for holidays you celebrate or comfort foods or offering recipes, etc. :)

You saying being a witch is like committing yourself to being a full time student really struck a cord with me. I am not a witch but i am a tarot reader. I have my own tarot business but i never stop studying my craft.😁 there is always something new to learn and marvel at.

Your Journal is you I have a box 📦 of notes on scraps, loose leaf paper and card stock, sigils, spells, Journal, writing , online print out etc. I don’t get the need to have a pretty tome to pass on, as long as I can read it’s good enough

I have a working journal, a numbers journal, dream journal, tarot journal .you name it, I'm sure I've got it & they all have some sort of art in them because Im artsy. The problem is, lots of journals everywhere . I've already started A big binder because I got sick of digging through all my digital folders looking for what I need & searching through all my journals, so I want it to be strictly more for info& print outs than artwork. Now I'm also thinking about making My BOS or magical book where Its a cross between reference book & art journal, Bu that looks like Leonardo Davinci made in his time. This is a lot like my book. Your book is beautiful and inspiring.

I've started to use a similar method! I originally made myself a hardcover book to be my fancy book. After making a couple of pages, it didn't feel like this is what that book was wanting to be. I put the idea of a fancy book on the back burner for a while until I could come up with or find something that felt "better" for lack of a better word. I've always kept a massive binder of all my notes & it's ridiculous lol. In the past few weeks, I actually have gone back and started to use that original book as a brain dump book basically for magick stuff and getting things lined out for how I want to do my next attempt (I say attempt because who knows, it might turn out like the first one and it tells me, nope not in here either lol). I really like the idea of the art journal format. It's something I discovered last year and it really does just give you that little breath of fresh air! I'm really hoping to get back to it once I get my desk space sorted out. Thank you for sharing your method!

Your artsy rumoured reminds me a lot of my own. I'm wondering where you got the book,though and what it was advertised as. I've had mine for 12 years and it has gotten fluffy like yours from all the painting etc inside the pages. So the pages have begun to break out of the binding sadly, but yours seems to be holding up well... Beautiful job, very inspiring by the way
