Sure thing. First question, do you have the coved aluminium blade setting tool? It’s pretty easy with one of those, you just push down against the spring pressure, hold in place and tighten the two end retainer bar nuts. Then lift the setting tool away and tighten all the middle ones. Do the same on all 3 blades. If you don’t have the tool, the next option is to use a square as a straight edge, hold it flat on your outfeed table protruding out over the jointer head. Turn the head by hand until the blade is at top of its arc. Release all the retainer bar nuts first except the two outside ones and they need to be just the slightest friction grab point. By allowing the spring behind the blade to push the blade up until it just touches the underside of the square straight edge, that holds it at same height as outfeed table which is what your aiming for. Then give the closest outer retainer bar nut a little tension so it won’t move. Shift the square straight edge to the other side and repeat the process. You should now be able to move that square straight edge across the table and as you rock the jointer head back and forth through it’s arc - the length of the blade, you should be able to hear the blade scrape the underside edge of the square straight edge without lifting it above the outfeed table. Lock the two outer retainer bar nuts in this position. Then tighten all the middle ones. Rinse and repeat on the other two blades. Lastly you can buy a pair of magnetic base planer blade setting jigs that will hold the blade at any height you set on both sides while you tighten the retainer bar nuts. From memory I think it was 41 degrees.

@@ianmoone2359 Grizzly sells them ground at 42 degrees with a secondary of 45 degrees. Most planer blades I encounter are around 40 degrees. I just bought the Grizzly version of this machine. After you spend the time fiddling and adjusting it does a decent job but I think this idea of yours using these wheels will improve mine.

@@anthonybeaver3734 I just used a Wixey digital angle gauge to find the 41 degree angle, and fiddled with the adjustment until I was getting a full flat grind that matched the existing ground angle from new. You can run a blue felt marker along the ground angle, do a single pass and see if your removing all the blue or just the leading edge or just the trailing edge. Adjust accordingly until your getting an even grind removing all the blue ink in one pass, then leave it set at that angle basically. The CBN wheels basically cold grind and prevent you changing the temper of the thin leading edge by overheating it. Realistically water (wet) grinding like with a Tormek, is the only other way to do that.
