I rode this route some years ago, as was 35 then, 56 now, god this brought some of the best memories back. When we got back to the camp site we had a quick shower then to the pub. Absolutely fantastic time of my life. Thank you so much for posting this. 🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Glad it brought back great memories. This is one of the reasons I make videos. So when I’m an old man no longer biking. I can look back on all these vids and feel like you did watching this 😁

Good edit Andy, like how you keep some interaction with the ramblers/hikers in. Looks a great ride and I`m venturing a little further afield from my East lancs trails and really looking forward to doing this one. Happy riding

Thanks mate. Yes I like to keep some interactions with other trail users in the vids. If we all slow down and have a little chat with walkers instead of buzzing them at speed on descents. It may give us a better name

Oh wow, that trail is amazing, and scary as hell :D I would fall so quick, but looks stunning through your lens!

Great video Andy. I go down Rigg Beck when I do that route, down towards Stoneycroft is too techy for my liking 😂
@TrailFinder2 жыл бұрын
Done rig beck once. Although I enjoyed it. I prefer Stoneycroft

hey mate great vid looks an awesome loop that one - quick question - has the copper colouring worn off your cassette to any degree? mines is only 3 weeks old and already on certain cogs it almost looks silver :( wish id have got gold apparently that doesnt wear off at all
@TrailFinder2 жыл бұрын
Mate. You wouldn’t know it was copper. The chain is more or less silver also. A friend has had his gold cassette for a 3 years. And guess what. It’s still gold. I’m getting gold next over the rainbow and copper
@didzy93492 жыл бұрын
@@TrailFinder thought as much, gutting really isnt it?! im tempted sell mines whilst its only 3 weeks old - really crap whats the point in selling it as copper/rainbow if they just wear off within weeks of riding :( gold next time for me too if i can find one - im glad its not just me haha!

Now that's some proper hike a bike! That ridge line....😬 Stunning. For 13 miles it packed in the quality. Enjoyed that, great stuff Andy!

Great video mate. Shame you never got to do Whiteless Pike but a wise choice given the wind as it has a few tasty sections on it. I really should try and get up the North Lakes more really.

Weather didn’t look to bad in the vid. But it was bitterly cold and that wind was to strong. Really looking forward to hitting whiteless. So want that 1st time to be as perfect weather and conditions as possible
