I have put this Mistal also on my Griso 1200. Stock db killer also kills horsepower... Without I think it's to much sound, so I made a good db killer myself. Nice sound, runs great. 112 HP at the real wheel at a power bench, also with BMC sportfilter, modified airbox and modified injection mapping. I like the design very much, gives you the right open view to the rear wheel. I'm using throwover saddlebags for years now. Also on this bike. I made detacheble guards for them and works very fine.

Nice bike, the only downside with that high exhaust is you cannot use the panniers, I attached the stock bags and it's nice having to be able to carry things

I'll stick with the stock pipe and the factory panniers. That Mistral can souds awful.

Moto Guzzi could actually have made the original Griso exhaust out of cardboard or chipboard. Nobody, absolutely nobody in mental sanity leaves this "trumpet of Jericho" on his Griso Guzzi.
