Beautifully restored and another bullet proof engine saved for future generations to look on and enjoy. Just think, by 3021 it’ll be almost due a bottom end inspection! 😉. I have a lister LD1 which is loosely similar and mine was stored in a shed for a similar time but was a good engine to begin with. After I got it home, I gave it an oil change and bled the fuel system. It hadn’t run for 20+ years and after one good swing it fired up. Thanks for sharing.

Un-real! I'd have a blasted STROKE if I ever found one of those but I suppose some of my old gas jobs were a bit like that one. The spiders had a fiend day there! You did a fine job and go a lot into more detail than Rusty Motor does but for each, his own. Thanks, Griz! Wonderful job!

Well done for the rescue. I have an AV1, where the previous owner broke the injector pump casting where the circlip holds in the innards at the bottom. Do you know where I could get a new one? (I will also need a new injector pump piston as that has been broken as well but I can buy those). I can if I need to use a spare PAZ1 pump body and rebuild the AV1 pump in it, but was hoping for something a little more correct if I can.
