We dont clean the motorcycle drive chain by running the engine. You could end up losing your fingers

Very true, but they were focusing more on lubing than cleaning. Lubing the drive chain on gear isn't dangerous.

I have been using moto jack for the last one year. I think it's better than groller because it lifts the tyre and the tyre can rotate freely. It also has a velcro strap that you can strap on the front brake lever so that the bike does not slide forward. Very essential for a solo rider like me. Nice review! 😊

I have been using Groller for past 1 year or so. They are good. Not as handy as paddock stand but gets the job done. Cheap and compact. Getting the bike on it takes some practice though. If it is not setup correctly, the wheel starts drifting in one direction.

Don't do chain lube with starting your bike and putting it in 1st gear...very risky thing...you can lose your fingers. Don't do that please. Sorry for 1 dislike. Ride safe and have a good day :-)

Well you can always manage to carry a car jack in your luggage. It is much compact than a paddock stand and quite convienient too. You can put in under the right axle of your bike while it is on stand. In this way it will pick up your bike for a small height and you can lube your chain. Anyways, a great video 👍

Hi Kiran and Sachin. Thanks a lot for giving your honest review about our GRoller and we always look forward for genuine feedback. GRoller is actually an awesome product for all the riders whether you ride in group or solo. The problem which you were facing is because you haven't placed it properly. While rolling your bike over GRoller, you should always keep GRoller aligned with the Outer Lining of the tyre. You have placed GRoller exactly in center with the tyre which is not the right position. We have brought this product as an alternative to Paddock Stand or all those who do long rides frequently. GrandPitstop Hey Guys, thanks for the inputs however we have tried all the possibilities for keeping the tyre on Groller but as we said tyre rotation is not free like the way it is when kept on Paddock, so ideally it can't be an replacement of paddock stand, but definitely it is an good alternative to paddock stand.

We agree that tyre is not as free as in Paddock Stand because Paddock lifts your tyre off the ground but we are very sure that the effort is not very huge which you are experiencing. Thanks for appreciating the fact that it is a good alternative :)

I have a dominar 400. Tilting my bike like that would break the stand in a few days. I ordered the medium sized GRoller.

Is groller good enough or did you switch to something else for your domi.. I felt the same.. jack might not work for heavy domi. Apparently it slips.. and my building has smooth concrete in the parking area..

As long as you can rotate the wheel that should be enough. With the small package and a fraction of the cost , I think it deserve a credit

Investing in a paddock stand is a better option as the difference between a paddock and groller is around 1000-1200 rs

Hi Kiran and Sachin, Though i have never used this product or any similar ones available in market, but still would want to like to share my point of view. Chain lubrication does not mean you just spray a lube. You infact first have to clean the chain and then apply the lube. Yes a cleaner spray is also available which can be applied in first gear the way you showed, but then again even after applying the cleaner spray you will have to wipe clean it with a cloth which no way is possible to do on first gear. Ashish Patil Cleaning and lubing process is well known to all the bikers very well which you described hence we did not thought to repeat in this video, like you said almost everyone know this process thanks to internet and youtube.

Finally after researching grollers - Easy to carry. Can't lift rear wheel(useful for tyre change and rolls wheel easily) paddock stands - Serves all purposes. Impractical to carry. moto jacks - Cheapest. Lifts rear wheel, but difficult for beginners and single person. I decided to install centre stand, the old school way :P Its costlier but serves many purposes and best of all worlds - Free rear wheel movement. No need to carry seperately. Can make make bike stand straight(useful in luggage loading, tight parking etc. ). Bikes with side stand sensor killing engine can rotate wheel freely on centre stand. Can use in rotating bikes easier on less spaces/offroads :D

By tilting bike on Side stand; side stand gets some play and may bend. And found the same problem with grollar i have.. so have to find solution on that...

Don' t waste your time on searching alternative products, all these products can not replace Paddock stand, these are alternatives, and when you feel that the side stand is getting bent replace it with new one, we just replaced it for one of our cbr for less than 200 reupees. Hope this was useful! and we are currently testing one more product for chain lube and cleaning.

Why would you lube your chain when the bike is running. 2k is better than loosing a finger.

Never tilt your bike on side stand and lube the chain. Use a roller it takes a little effort but does the job efficiently.

I wouldnt recommend applying lube in 1st gear, I know a bloke who had a terrible accident and lost three of his fingers since it caught in between the sprockets....

Ranjit Prasad bikes also come only with just side stand... I think you didn't saw RS200, Duke 200, CBR, etc... Get some bike knowledge first and comment..

They said they were thinking to buy paddock stand, but they didn't becoz it's not handy to carry around while touring.. So I commented y thinking abt buying a paddock(price atlst around 4k) stand instead jst get a centre stand.(abt 1k) P. S - the comment was fr the Sachin n kiran, not u.

Its absolutely an useless product, I bought it for my ER6n and just getting the bike on the roller itself was a task and luckily somehow if I was able to get it on the roller, rotating the wheel was another big problem, every single time either the wheel would move out of its position or I needed to use extra pressure just to rotate the wheels, and their idea of a bigger product which they suggest for big bikes is even more useless, I mean why would i buy something which is even more heavier than the actual one, the main purpose intended here is it should be easily packed in our bags while traveling. I say the MotoJack is 1000 times better product that this one, its easy to use, the wheel stays free so one can rotate it freely and lube and clean the chain as well as its very compact to have it around while traveling.
