I suggest making the undead look 'wet' to really up the disgust factor. Glycerin or glucose can give a lasting 'wet' look to props without significant staining or breaking down the rubber (if you're gentle, of course.) otherwise try silicone personal lubricant. (If they are indeed latex, and not silicone masks). Water based personal lubricants can also work, depending on their mechanism for working, your milahe may vary. Also, never use chocolate based fake blood, because cocoa stains like you wouldn’t believe. Best wishes from your friendly local cosplayer :)
