This is my series where I book a standard room at every hotel in Vegas and show you everything you need to know. I’m inspecting mattresses, cleanliness, looking for bed bugs, testing water pressure and smells. No influencer trickery or arranged visits, this is a look at what you can expect at each resort. The worst three include OYO, Rio and The D Downtown. My worst room experience was at the Hard Rock, i got there a little before 3pm check they didn't charge for being early but the room had not been touched. There were hosekeepers still on the floor i politely asked if they woukd clean my room and they did so i didnt complain and went about having a good time.

I'm wildly optimistic the Rio will be fully absolved of its Caesars Entertainment-era sins by about two years from now when Phase II of Dreamscape's full-on resort renovation in the Masquerade Tower and Masquerade Village is fully complete. But yeah: I'm just choosing to hold off on booking a stay there even with the exciting existing refreshes in its food hall, pool complex and exterior until ALL of the renovations are complete. Yeah: I am kind of surprised the D turned out as it did considering it's owned and operated by the Stevens brothers and the Circa is awesome. But then again the building is 43 years old and there's only so much you can do with fully upkeeping a lower-tier resort especially when you have something like Circa in your portfolio. Don't feel motivated at all to stay there. OYO is just no. Just. NOOOOOOOO!!!

We as vacation customers pay over the top for dirty rooms a total farce and nothing gets done but we all suffer a joke at our expense.

All hotels are gonna be somewhat dirty. No matter the price. Some arent that much,but they are. I dont expect the staff to clean the walls or do deep cleaning in every room cause lets be honest the owners always rush cleaners out ,so they can get as many rooms in. Thats buisness. Thats why I always bring my own stuff even if the room looks "clean".

As a whole, Vegas is trash anyways. It's not a vacation spot. They can remodel or demolish and rebuild all they want, at the end, it's all the same trashy concept.
